has anyone noticed pics disapearing from thier profiles sporadically?
I had space to upload a couple more earlier.. and did so... the reason or doing sowas the *loss* of previous.
Ive just been told by a *friend* that i habe only 6 pix in profile....!!!
there were Twelve!!
is this happening to anyone else?
and might they/anyone have an explanation?

Well, if your pictures were anything like your multiple and inappropriately placed ads then it's not a mystery!
Placed in Men seeking Groups/Men etc (four in total) is misusing the system. If you had loaded pictures of women then they too will have been deleted. There's no note left on your account but that doesn't mean that they haven't been deleted.

Thoough I have to say in my defense >perhaps niave< that I didnt think that to be the case, having tried to make things clear that I was posting on behalf of a ladyfriend etc etc.
Pictures were deleted also (not all of the said woman) and someof mine.
So im a bit confused on that front. It appeared a little random to me.
The Ladyfreind herself sent me the pictures to be used, and granted full permission.
What surprises me is the randomness of the picture deletion in the first instance, over three or four instances in the last week.... plus the fact that if the ads remained untouched, even if they were indeed *inappropriatelty* placed...
Once again I should appologise to both the site mods etc, my Ladyfriend, and all those whom have applied/responded, it appears I have missled you.
Perhaps if a note/message had come my from whomever had made the decission initially, I would not have continued to blindly struggle on in this manner, thinking I was contending with some form of site *bug*, but would have ammended my postings and/or saught advice.
In the section you quote, I was indeed a man seeking men (on behalf of my ladyfriend) so I still feel a certain sence of mystery....

My comments about your photographs are only speculation as I have no knowledge of what happened to them.
No need for apologies, though it is nice to be offered them. Wish more of the HUNDREDS of people who break the site rules would do the same.
As for your three ads - they were NOT Men seeking Men, they were Women seeking Men (etc) and therefore not valid. We get HUNDREDS of angry reports about users posting in the wrong categories. Why not get your lady friend to set up her own account and therefore become valid instantly??

I deleted off a couple last night - cos from the angle I was looking at them from, a quick glance, the account said 'Male', therefore I deleted off the fem pics. Bearing in mind there are hundreds and hundreds of pics to authorise each day - when I'm authorising photos, I rarely go into their ads to see if they're appropriate. Just a quick look at the account 'type', along with several other standard checks of the actual pic to make sure it's within the AUP, then bang, hit the appropriate button, on to the next one

I'll be corrected if I'm wrong - but I'm sure that so long as your ad explains the situation clearly, then it wouldn't be deleted. Also make sure you post it in the correct category - I don't know where you posted the last ad, but I would say to post in Couples seeking.... Not in the Women seeking.... as it's you who's doing the searching on her behalf :dunno:
