Do classic handsome looks spoil a man?

IMHO the looks is always a distraction .... I'll admit sometimes a very welcome distraction but there always has to be a personality you like to back it up.
Oh and Winch Wench I am almost certain you are being subjected more to the she's out of my league problem when in full dazzle mode than the she's up herself...that or they know what you could do to them if they upset you.....

Is swinging just about 1 man having sex with 1 woman?
What do people expect/anticipate finding in a swinging environment?
Think of the possible answers to those questions and you may find hidden in there the answer to yours. wink

However, you could also refer back to some other comments which people have made suggesting that attitudes may change towards looks being enough in a man as women mature - with the typical age range appearing to be 16-25, may be he is too old to pull in the nightclubs anymore dunno

For any man or woman getting into the swinging world, or indeed into any new social group; it will assist their success by being 'good looking', because we all prefer to have sex with someone attractive.; as opposed to a hideously repellent person. However the learning curve of behaviour and attitudes can't be avoided, and this is easily recognised in the inexperienced, and which one must go through to be accepted as 'genuine'; and so develop the lifestyle.
If someone has had an easy passage through life based on their good looks, this is not going to occur in budget lifestyles. They know they have to exist in a world which can support luxury items. So they tend to develop other skills to maintain their survival. Some of these skills are extremely unattractive. So many arrive with their own peculiar habits and different kinds of prejudice etc.
So I think the question may fall more on the side of 'do good looking people get a better life'? Whether they swing and how well they accomplish it is less of a consideration. Chances are that if they are progressing through more privileged social groups, sexual freedom is usually accepted, although probably not seen as 'swinging' , thereby avoiding a labelling.
Having 'worked' their way through such a social circle, their looks and their sexual abilities are important to their progress and survival. This is often how Hollywood works, the chief requirements being that you should be extraordinarily attractive or unique and have a formidable sexual capability. Acting, well you do that when you're sobering up.
Anyone who has passed through this process in life is generally unlikely to be found cruising the clubs and of mainly anonymous adult thrill seekers. Although I have seen one or two aging celebrities at some of the rougher club nights.
So would it spoil them for swinging. Probably, but in ways most people might be unfamiliar with, and would therefore usually be ignorant of their inner workings. They certainly are more predatory and probably capable of pushing the limits and getting away with it.

To me I hoped that the swinging community / lifestyle was one where its members accept a liberated and tolerant attitude to all sorts of sexual preferences going well beyond a stereo typical monogomous relationship scenario

Thats a can o worms question !!! I'm going to try and partially duck it or I'll be typing all night !! I think as in all communities members come to the community with a broad range of motives personal to them, some are noble and some not so noble, I also hope that the cream rises to the top as it were biggrin

I think I do see better what you are driving at, I would still go for "Not Necessarily" as the response to the original question you posed but I can see that such individuals might have to make quite an adjustment to their "learnt" behaviours from the conventional world . They might get a very different reaction than they are used to !! :)
Yes I can see that the balance is shifted as some of the conventional view factors normally at play are no longer relevant. e.g. for example playing the "game" of pursuit in the hope of achieving relationship / sex at the end is not necessarily there and I'm sure there are other conventional behaviours that won't play as usual bit like suddenly finding someone switched off gravity LOL.

Can I answer that, I do not know why I did not come here sooner. You may have noticed the some what dark a mysterious moon<. I could not put a face pick as I just could not handle the PMs.
