We got to a field with young cattle in it (last year's crop I would guess - where is artificer when you need him?) and there was an elderly gentleman with a white scottie dog leaning on the gate. I wheeled the buggy up to the gate so that the twins could get a decent look at the heifers. The conversation went as follows:
Gentleman: "Just watching the world go by."
Will: "Indeed."
We watch the cows.
Gentleman looks at twins and then looks at Will. Looks at twins. Looks at Will.
"I bring my grandkids up here too."
"I'm sorry?"
"I said, I bring my grandkids up here too."

If you see reports of the bloodstained, bludgeoned body of an elderly man found by a remote Shropshire roadside being guarded by a pining white scottie dog.....it's nothing to do with me! :whistling:
Will - off for a G&T as I do NOT drink Horlicks!!
