Do people like receiving PMs?

OK - now I know this is completely off thread but as we are now discussing english grammar, I would like to share this little offering with you.

Eye Halve a Spelling Chequer
Eye halve a spelling chequer
It came with my pea sea
It plainly marques four my revue
Miss steaks eye kin knot sea.
Eye strike a key and type a word
And weight four it two say
Weather eye am wrong oar write
It shows me strait a weigh.
As soon as a mist ache is maid
It nose bee fore two long
And eye can put the error rite
Its rarely ever wrong.
Eye have run this poem threw it
I am shore your pleased two no
Its letter perfect in it's weigh
My chequer tolled me sew.
(Sauce unkown)

Wilma wilma you really must understand the northern sense of humour.... Alex Jame and I live but 15 miles aprt....

I like getting PMs in general, but only if they are NOT...
From someone who sent it asking for a shag within three minutes of having his membership verified...
From someone thinking I am the great Oracle of all everything just because I've got more buttons I can click then they have...
From people who think Mods are anything other than volunteers devoting their time for the good of everyone...

I love PMs, but not the inane 'fancy a shag' ones.
When I see one from one of my friends on here my heart and spirits lift and a smile comes to my lips.
I have got to know some wonderful people via PM.

Hasn't poole's shut down now, the one near the bus station? they were the bestest pies.
sorry, i know i've gone completly off the point of this thread, but there's something strangely exciting about seing the place where i live get a mention on a national forum (that, plus i've had a few..again)

I also love gettting PM's & they can make all the difference sometimes with thier support/kindness/giggles etc. Learnt more about people via PM's than on the forum....

finding PMs waiting for you when you log on really shows some peeps care enough to say something to you.... though sometimes it can be like opening that letter form the bankmanager!!!
