ive been swinging since i can remember. but lets for legal reasons say 18.
i decided this year to stop. not because i dont love swinging, but because i was sick and tired of non swingers who were here.
that sounds wrong, i was tired of meeting chatting to people who had a idea of what swinging is that was so far removed form mine i gave up hope.
if i was lucky enough to find my soulmate who was into swinging then yes i woudl be starting again.
so at the moment my shelf life as a swinger amounted to 21 years.

I've been away for a while.
I posted regularly and frequently. My life changed and access to this site has become rarer.
I have noticed that each time I return many of my contempories are gone. Yes there seems to be a limit on people life on SW.
thirteen weeks at this time of year should you start after the summer equinox.

As a newcomer, from what I've read around here, I am given the impression that how long anyone swings depends on the experiences they have while swinging. In that regard it's the same as anything, I guess; meet enough smegheads while you're doing something and you'll stop doing it, regardless of how much you enjoy it the rest of the time.
Also, even if you do enjoy it more often than not, you can eventually burn out.
and don't get to enjoy it more often than not so should be good for decades yet
