A new channel has just started on Sky, and its made me think that there seem to be more and more people who believe in the paranormal.
I have been having experiences of the paranormal as far back as I can remember, and still do now. I would be interested to know others views on the subject.
I have seen too much to doubt it... what about you??
:confused2:
james randi(he`s the guy who proved uri geller to be a fraud and a cheat)has 1 million dollars for anyone who can prove any kind of paranormal has never been claimed.
ill give £10000000 to the person who proves god is real...
not being facicious but there are many things that people believe in that cannot be proven.
love is a real thing, but can you prove it? no but those who have experienced it will know its real as is heartache.
i think there are thousands if not millions of fakers out there regarding he paranormal. the paranormal covers os many different concepts.
i have experienced some things after a death of a friend that cant be explained, was it the other side? i dont know even though i experienced it im still very sceptical.
xx fem xx
Do you believe in the paranormal?
Nope, its all bollocks.
I do believe in the afterlife though not sure about all these haunted house programmes. I've seen Derek Acora and I think he's mothing but a charlatan. On the other hand, I've been given a message by Tony Stockwell about my Dad and there is no way on this earth ( or the next! ) he could have made any of that up!
I've seen spirits and felt my Dad around me. Some people think it's just the mind playing tricks and they're entitled to that opinion but they can't prove it's NOT for real the same as I can't prove it IS.
I do believe in a Higher Being - call Him/Her what you will - but my idea of heaven isn't all fluffy clouds and angels. My heaven will no doubt be a lot different to the next person's. IMHO heaven and hell is the personal perception of each one of us so they will all differ.
As with everything in the world, that's my opnion and belief. Others may have a different view of things and that's your choice
I'm very cynical when it comes to these things- but open minded at the same time. However, Mr W lived in a house when he was growing up in which he experienced things that could only be called paranormal happenings. These things were also experienced by other members of the family, and a visitor who was unaware of events.
I've always taken it with a pinch of salt. Having said that, I drive past the house fairly often. The number of times it gets put up for sale is very disconcerting....
I have a scientist mate who is incredibly level headed- and she visits a medium.
I've seen a couple of things I can't explain which freaked me out at the time, but I will always look for a rational explanation for things.
Nobody has ever been able to offer me an explanation for why ghosts are always monks, WW1 soldiers, Victorian ladies etc etc though. When someone says to me they've seen a ghost in a shell suit, or a Lonsdale trakkie I might start to believe......
Hang on, if it meant I could shag Fox Mulder- I believe!
another bubble burst, sorry lol
I think there is something that is just beyond what is considered normal. Something just out of reach, but what that is I do not know.
PS
there are no music-hall acts that can prove they know!
Dearest Members,
I look at this question...
Life must be more than this. Just wake up & go to work to pay bills.
It has to be...everything in the Universe is in order, Nature has it's order.
The only thing that does not have any or a rhythm in it's enviorment is us...humans.
So everyone since time began that has seen a Ghost must be either mistaken or a liar.
Am not having that.
From,
Wunderhorse.
Not so only half go there the others go to celebrated in 'Sessrumnir with Freya, goddess of love and war.'
I like her hall better.
A lot of people have different experiences, and we are all entitled to our own opinions...
I know when my late hubby is about, its usually when I'm in the bathroom because the thermometer temperature goes mad.. one minute its 20 degrees the next its minus 45... will try and post a pic on my profile showing it..
Some people may never see anything, but for those who have.. I'm glad I'm not alone!
Missk
