Are fellow users missing out?
Do most users just use the chatroom or are they aware that the forums are another way of striking up a friendship?
My own opinion is the Forums are under utilized?
What's your thoughts?

Thanks, but I think you misread or mis-understood my post, there's no problem, I was simply asking do others, like me think the forums are under utilized.

By thinking they are under utilized then you think there is a problem of people not using the forum.
I believe that each person can use any or all parts of the site and achieve what they want to achive. So I think there is no problem.
Now if you ask me if I would like to see others use the forum, then yes......it would be great to see every member use the forum. This is unrealistic as different members want different things from the site. When they achieve that then they stay within their own comfort zone. It is not up to me but up to them to decide how much or little they interact with the site facilities..........I just hope they get what they want and enjoy

its ok asking for more members to use the forums but maybe people are put off using them because so many people look at them but dont speak or some who say they will pass info on then dont do it
i have had several posts on here and never had a reply and joined others when people said they would send locations and 3 months down the line i am still waiting even though i have sent a couple of reminders
this then makes us disillusioned to use again

I tend to steer clear of the chatrooms coz it all whizzes past far too fast for my brain. :shock: By the time I've decided on a response the whole topic has moved on to something else. :-(
I know I shouldn't say this, but on the odd occassion when chat's broken it's nice to see more people from there pop up in the forums. :thumbup:

A long time ago in a galaxy far far away ...... they did
Every dog has his day and this one had its day about 4 years ago. Forums back then were far busier than this roughly a page and half of posts per 24 hours. Thats not to say that the people who once posted here have left the scene they are simply elsewhere on the web. We use one other site but we only use it for meets have never posted in the forum. However I do read some of the threads now and then and every time I venture in there are about 20 topics all with a last reply less than an hour ago. One of the reasons Ive not bothered to post is I couldn't be arsed to keep up with that level of posting :lol: I agree the forum could do with being a bit busier but I am fussy so not to much busier as it takes up too much time :twisted: About 10-15 threads updated a day would be good please site members*
