Guess what folks, I was browsing Swinging Heaven's fantastic Forum and forgot Dr Who was on, so I missed it.
Banging my head on the wall as we speak, and desparetly trying to find someone with one of those new fangled Video Recorder Thingys, who may just may have taped it.
Ah well that's life. Mind I did learn a thing or two o here.
John

DR WHOOO HEY DR WHO DR WHO THE DALEKS it was soo great and BILLIE PIPER GRRRRRR   and as for christopher eccleston well all i can say is he reminds me of the greatest Dr Who EVER TOM BAKER!!!!!!! but where is k9 he was the best thing about Dr Who............except the cyber men :borg:.....

Just to let you know that K9 is safe and happy living with the Dogs Trust (previosly known as The National Canine Defence League!!) down here in Devon near Ilfracombe!!! And for me it had to be Dr Who for best viewing on Saturday........was pleasantly surprised as it has a lot to live up to for those of us that grew up with it.....but just watching my kids reaction to it was enough for me....they loved it (my son especially appreciated the wheelie bin belching!!) and they never moaned once that i had changed channels from their fave Ant&Dec.......a blessing in itself!!! biggrin

If you got to you can buy your very own Dalek.

And for the techie's amongst you -
Neither of them. lol
I,m just amazed  u all missed the Columbo film on C5!!! wink  lol
If you'd all have stayed up later , youd have seen a fantastic film called Jean de Florette which was Gerrard Depardieu' first big screen performance . Now that was decent telly !

Morbius jumped out of his skin at one point and I offered to pull the sofa forward for him but he declined rotflmao

That's why I couldn't watch Dr Who even if I wanted to.
It scared me shitless as a boy, and I still haven't gone out and got a sofa

Well, if there's a cat in each chair, I have to sit on the coffee table.
Actually it's the wooden one from the patio furniture. Had to have somewhere to put the laptop
I loved Dr Who. It had the right amount of action, laughs and scary moments! The only thing that threw me was the night bus over the bridge (night buses come out after midnight...) and the shopping that people were doing. That was one lively London at what, 3 am? LOL I am sure none of the producers noticed the bus and probably not much of the audience did either. I tried to write to the BBC with my comments but it is so hard to find an email addy, their website seems to jump back and forth the same pages on the Contact Us link. Oh well!

Welcome back Dr Who! The first time in weeks I have had cause to turn on my television. Though my favourite Doctor is Jon Pertwee, closely followed by Tom Baker......

Dr Who for definate, never watched Ant and Dec, not after Biker Grove anyway wink
I thought the new Dr was alot like the 'true' Dr - Tom Baker, but it seems lots of people thought he was like Jon Pertwee, maybe we see in him what we want to see biggrin
PS Awaiting the wrath of the Dr Who fans for making the 'true' doctor comment :D and while I am on the subject, for the record the only James Bond is Sean Connery.
I think Pierce Brosnan comes a close secind though. Always thought he'd be a good JB after seeing him as the Russian agent in 'The Fourth Protocol'.

I heartily agree with that, Pierce had the right amount of dodgy jokes and cold steel looks.

Thats right......he doesn't want to be typecast......BBC should have had him sign a long term contract..

So who is going to be the new Doctor Who? He should be a bit older I think.......... Or is it just that when I watched it b4, I was younger, so the Doctor's seemed to be older???
Confused now , I need to lay down.........
