Does anyone still use a "zip" drive?

Hi all
As the title says, Does anyone use a zip drive on their computer?
The reason I'm asking is that I went to a computer fair just before Xmas and bought a job-lot of different types of discs, software, blank cd-r's etc.
In with the job-lot were 72 250MB zip disks, brand new and still packaged in the cellophane and in boxes of 4.
What I'm wondering, is, would it make more sense to buy myself a zip drive (I have a spare expansion hole on my box) or is it not really worth doing that for an oldish machine?
If it's not really worth me buying a zip drive, does anyone that already uses a zip drive want them for free?
Obviously I'd prefer them to go to a good home (ie, someone that will actually use them as opposed to someone that just wants them for the sake of having them......I hate waste....lol) and in an ideal world, to someone that I already know.
If someone can advise me as to whether it would be worth buying a zip drive (and where to get a cheap one), or whether it's not worth bothering, can you please either leave a message on here or PM me with suggestions.

Might be worth buying a second-hand zip drive if your computer is old too.

I had an external zip drive but just flogged it mad

My advice is stick em on a well known auction site, bet you'll be suprised at how much they fetch.

mark, unless i've chucked it i may have one lying about the place, which you re more than welcome to have... i'll pop up my brothers sometime this week and have a mooch..

If you are getting on Marcuso, make sure it's a Zip250 and not the 100 as i'm fairly sure the 250 discs don't work in a 100 drive.
