Does exercise make you a better lover / swinger / shagger?

I have started this thread to compliment Drewxcore's International Mens Week March 12-18th
It is deliberately written in a 'Drew / manly style', emphasising manly attributes of strength and stamina. Despite this, the points contained below also equally apply to women IMHO, sorry Drew.
It's intended to inspire all swingers to take more exercise now Spring has arrived.
Now I'm not suggesting losing a few pounds will make you a better swinger. I rather like women of my age range who have the fuller figure. No, I'm talking about having good muscle tone and well exercised heart, lungs and circulation. The only way to achieve this is through regular vigorous exercise, more vigorous than can be achieved from sex alone.
As fellow Londoners will know, traffic is diabolical in the daytime and since I stopped motorcycling 10 years ago, If I am out on my own, I have cycled for short trips, more so in the summer months and use my car or public transport for longer journeys. For an experienced cyclist such as myself, a typical ride consists of periods of near maximum effort, so the lungs and heart are used to approaching full capacity and the increased circulation keeps the body in shape. Not only does cycling at this intensity improve stamina, intense cycling is also about tactics and knowing how to pace yourself. If you are a fan of the Tour De France, you will understand this.
So I think my exercise regimen which maintains / improves strength, stamina and pace makes me better between the sheets, how do others feel about keeping in shape?
cycling... yoga.... gymnasium... swimming... walking, using stairs instead of the lift... a brisk walk in bracing weather...

i now use every excuse i can find not to go redface

i used to do off road mountain biking about 20-30 miles at least once a fortnight, but a year ago the frame went and not had any money since to repair or replace. yes you can pick up a bike for £200-300 but for the abuse i give it i need to spend at least double that minimum.
I have found in that time my stamina is not as good as it once was so will be looking to sort something so i can build it back up again. Stamina is very different from strenght.
Oh excercise for me is brilliant. I joined the gym 5 weeks ago (after being really lazy) and it has done wonders for my sex life wink

No actually i do alot of walking everyday, id say at least 2 hours worth so have very strong legs. Theyre great for holding position. wink

I joined the gym in December and have been going 3 times a week since! I was a complete gym novice, had never been in one in my life but I'm really enjoying it biggrin Apart from last Friday when the guy changed my programme, made it so much harder and I could hardly walk all weekend :shock:
I also do a bit of yoga and between the two types of exercise I'd say I now have more stamina and energy! Whether that makes me any better between the sheets....dunno wink

It definetley improves stamina and the variety of posistions you can get into and hold.
Also makes you feel sexier physically and mentally. All those endorphines. And maybe make you look and seem sexier due to your improved attitude

I haven't been to gym for a while due to fact my hands are bad and I'm waiting for an op on them.. but when I did and when I exercised loads I always came home horny!.. it does wonders to your thighs and makes them so much stronger!
I particularly like riding my bike and hope to start this again soon. lol
Ladies, I also recommend the pelvic floor exercises regardless of whether you have had children or not!.. it is amazing what you can do when you have him inside of you with those muscles! :grin:

A friend of mine is big into downhill mountain bike racing and he has 3 bikes, Marlin is the make I believe and all of them are around the £5000 mark each :shock:

downhill is slightly different due to the stress that are put on the bike and also the how light they have to be.
my starting point for a bike i would like would be around £1700 for a new one about £1000 second hand.
money no object £2500 easy
Haha im glad ive found this topic. I go to the gym alot and i've always had a very dirty mind. During my time at the gym ive learnt that i can lift really high weights with my abdomen such as 115 kg or pounds (not sure which)I told this to a girlfriend of mine and she didnt quite understand how this would benefit in sex....since im horrible and great at disturbing people i thought i would mention to her that if we ever had sex i could lift her off the ground just with my abdomen....amazingly we havent tried it yet....but i think we might, oh yes i think we might
