Whilst this is a little bit of a whinge, its not a major one, its a little bit funny, and I thought it would make a bit of a discussion so I didnt post it in the steam room!!! I have irregular periods. It can be an utter pain. But its made a lot worse by some peoples attitudes. For example: On msn this evening. Me : I'm sorry I can't meet you 2moro night, I've got my period Him : Well didnt you know it was due? Me : I thought I did, but they can be a bit unpredicatble. Him: FFS, have you any idea how difficult it is for me? Me: Erm.....why you? Him: I planned to meet you, I had plans to get laid, now I'll have to find someone else. Me (increasingly annoyed) : Well I'm sorry, I had no idea how inconvienient it was for you. I'm crippled with stomach cramps but, I'm really sorry you feel horny, and now put out too!!! Him : Well there's no need for sarcasm. Maybe its something you should put on your profile. Me (very p*ssed off) : erm....put what on my profile? Him : that you are prone to letting people down because your periods are irregular. Me (exceptionally p*ssed off) : oooops I accidently hit the block contact button. Never mind!!!! So is this something I should write in my profile' 'I think my period comes on the **th of every month, but please be aware that this is subject to change. And I'm sorry if I put you out in anyway!!! And discuss!!!! :shock:
Oh how I wish I could make all men suffer periods for at least 6 months!!!!!! Yes, I too suffer with irregular periods :cry: & no I'm not adding it to my profile
that is fantastic red... perhaps you should also put on your profile that you are a woman, just in case he missed that. (is he single by any chance?) ummm also could you make sure that you say in your profile that you will turn up to the meet irregardless of diasters, natural or otherwise. I have to agree with the people saying he's an idiot, I'm afraid. From the bit of dialogue you posted, I would avoid this bloke like the plague. If someone can't take a simple, 'Not tonight' - for _whatever_ reason, then I'd avoid them. Trying to turn it around to some kind of guilt trip on you just because he has a hard on is ridiculous. You absolutely should put NOTHING on your profile unless you want to. Do not be told what to do! (ignore me telling you not to do what you are told to do as figuring that one out can be a headache...)

Yeh the guys a twat agree with all above. Periods in general can be a pain in the ass/fanny (how confused are americans reading this) in the swinging life. Couples looking for couples may have 2 weeks per month out of action this has certainly affected us in the past.

Hi Redangel This guys response to your period, as has been stated throughout this thread obviously shows that he was not worth a meet. Yes cancelling a meet is frustrating but I don't think his response was warranted. It has been suggested that he was response was partly due to the fact that he was a single. I would like to point out that not all single blokes would have responded the same. Speaking as a single bloke myself, I would have asked whether you would like anything from me e.g. a hot water bottle, chocolate or if there was anything else I could do, even if it was just to keep out of the way!
