I'd say that if someone if looking for a ltr but also not looking for a monogamous relationship, then these sites or parties may well be the best place to find a suitable partner.

I'm so glad I posted about this, the response has been so positive it's kind of restored my faith a little. I've had some lovely pm's from people saying they're in the same boat. I think the only the thing I can do is continue to be honest about what I'm looking for. All I can say to those who tell me I should 'bugger off to a dating site where I belong' that I'm not doing them any harm, I'm not trying to deceive anyone.

There are lots of people who have joined this site looking for straightforward nsa sex and low and behold they find the partner of their dreams.

I have to say I really dont know where I will end up with all this too, I feel now after 18 months that I would like to date again, but then again I would not want to leave here.
Like Pete said I feel that I would probable get a swift response to it. Yes when I first came here i was after a quick shag but found a very friendly community instead, and would not want to give it up.
As for dating hmmm not done that in in 18 years, where do I start :haha: i forgotten most of it, i would not know a chat up line if it hit me square in the face rolleyes

I have met up with people in my local area who are not from this site and thought i'd give this site a go and see how things work out, I joined this site for the swinging experience.
To be honest, i haven't had much luck at all. I've had no replies to any of my messages and have probably only spoken to 2 people via the chat.
To be honest, i'm very close to giving up.

Maybe if you were more specific about what you seek?
According to your profile, you're looking for (amongst other things) a gay female couple and a gay single female. Why would they be interested in you if they're gay? If they are among the type of people you've been messaging, there's no wonder you've had no replies.
Looks like you're only available at weekends too - some folk might want initial meets for drinks/social, during the week - so that their weekends are free for other types of meet.
You've not been on here that long either - be patient.

Why should any body give anyone on here flack???? Whats it to do with them at the end of the day????? You want a relationship on here? Why not? You are an adult and have the right to have a relationship on here if you choose too (oh and of course you need to meet the right person first lol

).
You are being honest and saying thats what you are looking for and yes there is the SH dating site but to be honest I think things happen when you least expect them anyway. They can happen on here, work, pub, etc, etc.....
So to all those who give single people flack about wanting a relationship - leave them be !!!!!!!! If it works it works - great, if it doesnt well thats life rolleyes
