School milk :uhoh: Our teachers used to stand the crate of milk on top of the storage heaters to take the chill of the milk. EUWW! Tepid milk and can you imagine how much the bacteria in it must have multiplied by being half warmed up? :!:  Scratchy woollen vests I was made to wear when a small child, which did up down the front with rubber buttons. All the girls wore them at my school  Yikes! They were the pits, making you scratch all day like a flea bag :scared: The gaudy ready painted plastic stick on finger nails my older sister insisted on wearing throught the 70's. I mean wtf? Sticking fake nails on with small strips of double sided tape She was always grovelling around on our bedroom carpet looking for one that had fallen off   Goodbye plastic nails . . . hello acrylic ones. At least she doesn't leave those all over the floor  Tracy-Jayne
school Mint Sauce... Grommit you must have gone to a posh school! We would have died for mint sauce. Might have made that tough old piece of leather passed off as liver something like palateable. Yuk! That can stay well and truly in the past as a traumatic memory! Fastflow
'Flicked' hair. Lacquered and rigid. Tank tops. Kilts, for little girls, where the top is stitched onto a nylon vesty thing. Bloody cold, coz you couldnt tuck owt into them. BTW, Sarge? You listening to Jeremy Vine? Just heard mention of Log's and Slide Rules, there.

Pans People and The Benny Hill Show were a great source of inspiration for me as a young man. And I'm sure they did their bit for the economy. Well at least sales of man size tissues rose as well as a few other things... Leon

Regarding the above comment on Rap music... Miles Davis once said that there are only two kinds of music 'Good music and bad music' You can find plenty of both in every style of music ever dreamed up. Remember just because I don't like what you like don't mean its bad or wrong! Cheers Sean x
