The site was playing up this evening, so first of all oour apologies for all of the problems, it shouldn't happen.
Our server support consultants will be investigating why there were issues and what needs to be done in order to prevent it happening again.

The site is a lot more stable than it has been for a long time, and issues do occur from time to time. No doubt people will still have a good moan, but in fairness,it was not down for long, and was not life

Sounds like a stroppy server. probably need to investigate its working conditions, and try and get it to come out of its shell a bit more.
You know all work and no play. Freezing temperatures, people shoving objects in and out of you. Could be systematic abuse etc.
Good holiday location for resting servers would be Iceland , Greenland or Russia.
