I'll go for The Master ...
Actually am hoping they'll actually do something about filming the events alluded to as the Time Wars ... would make a great movie IMO ...
cool

Nope, can't be The Master. He's currently stuck within the TARDIS's link to the Eye Of Harmony.

Words like "currently" don't apply to time travellers. wink
Words like credibly dont apply either . Does the tardis run on an improbability drive ?
I have skimmed through this thread as quickly as possible as i had to tape it as my daughter was playing out on her bike!
I only got into this series about four weeks ago, avoiding it thinking it was a load of cods wallop.
How wrong i was...it's superb!
Have to wait for the whole series to come out on dvd at xmas!
I will watch it tommorrow before i go off on my little ride of pleasure (if i get there)
Are you my mummy??? tip top episode!!

Just in case you all get too excited at the prospect of a new Doctor at the end of the series , and forget the danger of dissapointment I can say just two words...............................Sylvester McCoy

Have to admit, I thought it was a strange choice but he actually turned out to be not too bad in the role ...
sylvester mccoy was a good choice for the doctor, the problem was that the scriptwriting went dramatically downhill .. I mean, come on.. the candyman.. that oversized liquorice allsort? at least this time round.. they have things mostly right

ive just been told the person we all see next week in charge of the daleks is this man
Can i just say a big up to the BBC and Russell T Davies, used to hate Dr Who as it sucked but this new series has been funny, exciting and great you saved Dr Who biggrin
Beautiful glad the doctor is back, sat nights been dull without him, the daleks what can i say soon be the cybermen :eeek: :eeek: i think the dark voice at the end of this week episode was davros just a guess
For me one of the best bits yesterday went right over the kids heads.... Captain Jack trying to pull a bloke - superb cool

oooh an new avatar for the BBD???
I'm not awful sure about the new lad they've got in the role now for the doctor. Just a damned shame that Eccleston decided to call it quits. so soon.. He was worried about being typecast? Christ, you step into that police box once and you'll forever be associated with it!
I said that it was the emporer dalek

Well he WAS revived - but then left behind so who knows!!
lol
Anybody else think the new Dr who looks like Mike Oldfield?
It would be fun if they replaced Rose with Bez from the
Happy Mondays!
Imagine him shakin' his maracaas in the Tardis!
Well i supose thats it for now, 6 months to wait may as well go down to the pub on sat nights to kill some time.
What did you think of the regeneration i think they could have do it a bit better and the new doctor will need to get use to but he wont match up to chris eccleston

The regeneration was miles better than in the old series - see it again here

People are STILL saying that the only credible * * Doctor was Tom Baker, it depends on your own experience. I was a Tom Baker fan but Eccleston was absolutely superb, in the manic Tom Baker mould but with a softness not seen before. As for David Tennant, I just hope that he finds his Scottish accent again and doesn't keep on with the bland one of last night!
Apart from that - fan-bloody-tastic.
biggrin :D
My favorite Dr is Pertwee, he was great.....
admitatly my dr should really be Mr Mcoy as I was born in the 80s.
