Never fear duck-fans, the evil Mr Duckpathian Esq shall return to his rightfully voted avatar day job very soon. In honour of my first munch I'm giving him the weekend off to travel with me to meet those of you heading to meet up.
In his place you'll find a little "mini me", just for a short time, to give you a scary glimpse into who you're typing to and hearing from........

Anybody else got any plans to make themselves easily recognisable? Can we all print off a copy of our avatars and stick them on our lapels please?

I'm up to my eyes in work - can't even get a decent night's sleep these days so, unfortunately, I will have to miss the MidsMunch! :cry: :cry:

AAAAAWWWW Jags I sincerely do sympathise or is that empathize ( never was sure of thaT help will)
I have not slept a full night since about 1990... usually up afte about 0430... only seem tio need 4 to 5 hours....
sometimes I long to wake when others do

I sympathize with the sleep thing: I've rarely slept more than four hours in years. It started when I was lambing hundreds of ewes all night and working all day. I drown my pillow in lavender, overdose on Chamomile and count more sheep than Babe on Speed, but still, I'm awake with the Dawn Chorus.

Three cheers for the duck! I think we should make him the SH mascot.
(Actually, this is no ordinary duck, he confided in me and said that he always knew he was destined for great things and that his little life would be special...he knew this even before he was born....
in fact, he said he just couldn't wait to get laid.....)
