Yes I got that, thanks. More by guess work that understanding. Happy 's day Sassy.
I like the Dragon, it is nothing like you, is it. Now be honest!
Happy St David's Day xxx
Happy Day to our consonantly challenged cousins - Oh any chance of seeing some moel, foel (the most vowels i could find in two Welsh words)
Oh good grief thats cheap
I only viewed this one to see what it meant!
Happy St David's Day and a good feast to all.

What's bara brith?
A sort of fruit bread-cake thing... I think it translates as 'speckled bread'.
As with so much in life, if it's moist enough it's delicious!

As with so much in life, if it's moist enough it's delicious! Now, I'm as Anglo-Saxon as they come but even I know what bara brith is. It's absolutely delicious too. A very happy St David's Day to all Welsh-types here.
Will
PS As someone said, at least St David is actually Welsh. Let's not look too closely at St George! redface

Let's start the campaign to make St Cuthbert the patron saint of England then.....
May I introduce you to St Edmund

He was the Patron Saint of the English.
St George was a bit of bad work who went around staking out innocent princesses and killing endangered animals. Grabbing their treasures and then the women. A good patron saint for a Norman butcher, but I think England needs someone better.
Don't you?
Why not Saint Edmund
Travis
ahh i see
but it would be odd to change it now surely would mean a change of flag and everything
who decided that st george would be our patron saint anyhoo i'm sure there was a reason behind it and i'm sure one of you knowledgeble lot will know cause i'm too busy to google at the mo lol
St George killed Dragons. Wales and England had dragons as symbols. Therefore St Georga was a way of rubbing the nose of the dragon states in the fact that they were becoming the slaves of Normans.
I want to be the pope ........ anyway why do they have to be men?????
