eBay
Personally we love it! biggrin
I can not believe the bargains we have collected over time.
If we need something we always check ebay against the high street!
The bonus is if i dont like it or its crap... then you just sell it again! Result!
Have you noticed the wirdest things on there for sale!!!!!

I love ebay! My bank balance hates it! confused
I've got some great bargains on there but I've had to curb my spending lately and I've been very good biggrin
It's a great place to get dvds and cds cheap
I love it but
I have just made my biggest purchace on there this weekend and i just hope i still love it in a few days
i dont actually like it.
it seems every item ive ever bought has been a rip off.
either second hand when told its new or broken.
its from sellers with good feed back, so either fake feed back or easy pleased previous people.
my sister got her card details ripped off on there, a loop hole with pay pal.
its a shame cuse im one of the rare females who hates to go shopping, so on line would suit me better, but then cuse i work full time i would never be in to recieve the parcel.
lol moan over please dont lynch me all the ebay lovers lol
xx fem xxx
Not so keen nowadays as we were the victims of fraud on there. evil
We love e-bay
Just picked up a couple of new phones from one of the on-line shops.
We thought of selling & had a look at it but all those fees for e-bay & paypal put us off banghead
But we're very happy buying off there & no problems so far its just remembering what parcels arriving & does it have to be opened in private redface
Love it, I`ve been on there approximately 4 years and have sold loads of stuff (as well as buying plenty! redface ).
I`ve never suffered any kind of fraud or funny business with my account. I use the philosphy "if it seems too good to be true then it probably is", and "you dont get anything for nothing".
Works for me. wink
TBH.... never used it. I tried to sign up to sell something once but it seemed to hate me from the start, so I gave up.
love ebay us
:swingingchair:
had some great bargains from there biggest spend was a motorbike havnt had to many problems mainly sell stuff now as having big clean out although dek keeps winning hi heels amd sexy outfits my wardrobe has litterally burst at its hinges
I can't believe I'm admitting this but I buy wool from eBay. I don't mean just the odd ball either, I have tons of it redface
I love it, I buy material, lace, zips, buttons, handles and all sorts of stuff. Even PVC fabric :rascal:

I never thought of looking on there for wool.......I`ll go and see what`s on offer. wink
Love it....recent example £340 exhaust for my bike...£50....Couldnt justify spending that sort of money on a new one.
Have bought and sold many items over the years and have always come out on tops.
Where would we be without Ebay.....back at the car boot sale every sunday or scouring the local rags for bargains.
I do like my ebaying...have done it for many years. I buy and sell - but mostly buy!! biggrin
Its good fun looking up stupid things too!!

I've got 2 black bags full off the stuff that's going to a boot sale soon. I've got needles of every size including row counters, cable needles and stitch holders. Wish I'd thought of ebaying it

me too surprisedops:  especially when daughter was in cloth nappies and i was knitting wool soakers (well who would want to pay £40 for a pair of knitted shorts! not me!). I cant sew though, would love to be able to but i just cant get the hang of it! sewing machines chew up any fabric i wave near em!
i love ebay though, just discovered all the sexy undies etc on there so have been spending a little too much!
I alway knew Velvet was a nitter.....or is it nutter??
A nutter knitting a soaker?
I LOVE Ebay
I have great fun telling a work colleague that I have 'won' something
This sparks the usual debate, you didn't 'win it' you have to PAY for it lol
Works every time!!!!
I have 10 minutes, I wonder what I can buy :giggle:

Well i got ti today after a panice but it was down to the postal strike
Havent had a go yet but looks good so i still love it lol
Goosey, what have you brought dunno
Mrs Kiss and I just bought new Nokia 6288 phones from 3 but we needed some bits and bobs like extra chargers to keep at work etc.
I went on Ebay and purchased:
2 new chargers,
1 in car charger,
2 'crystal clear' protective covers,
1 data cable with software for Mrs Kiss' old phone to transfer her pics and vids etc,
And a Kath & Kim DVD - nothing to do with our phones but very funny!
Anyway I got all that for under £20 and it all arrived as described and within a week! Bargain!
When I was working as a boom operator if I was inbetween contracts I used to earn a living by dealing in stamps on Ebay.
I love Ebay! lol
Love it!... bought a brand new bathrooom suite including shower cubicle for just over lol nothing dodgy, everything I buy like that I make sure it's from an Ebay shop, ie., taps were from a proper plumbing shop on Ebay.
I always always read feedback from other purchasers before I buy.
Like everyone else, excellant bargains but too much temptation (ie., the Beckham perfume I've just bought this week... oops sorry Jay! bolt

Love it or hate it is slight extremes for a website but none the less it’s always come up trumps for me in the past both when purchasing and selling.
In the past I've kitted out a 4 bay commercial vehicle repair garage with all the tools, welders, compressors etc, etc for a 3rd of the price it would have cost me to do it via machine mart or other suppliers.
Then there was the brief moment of madness when I bought my dad a classic car off there (I don't even normally buy him a birthday prezie, but I was flush at the time) I bid on it unseen simply off the description, won it drove all the way to Dover with me dad and drove it home without a hitch. Buy a 40 yo car unseen and it goes 4 hours home non stop without a hitch ya can't ask for better than that. The vendor got some great feed back.
I've had some commercial vehicles sat on my stock list for months and never managed to sell them via the usual route (truck trader etc) only for me to put them on eBay and for them to sell first time and sometimes in a matter of hours always with good profits. The most notable being the 1950's fire engine I bought at an auction. It had a top speed of 30 mph and did 10 to the gallon and I thought I'd excelled when I drove it home from Burton up on Trent (one the most enjoyable journeys I've ever driven the double take everyone did when I drove past was great) but this chap came from North York’s (twice as far) the first day I listed it on there paid cash and drove it straight home with his missus following him in his jaguar, I think she must have followed him in reverse so she could maintain the same snails pace as him lol
I've got loads of stuff on there at the moment and in the past month alone have sold my speed boat, a boot lid off a golf GTI confused and loads of other tat I've had lying around.
Last week I saw a vintage camera on there for next to nowt a quick bit of research showed it to be worth a fair bit so I bided and purchased it for a fiver + a fiver for postage got it the next day went up town to a specialist shop and sold it for £50, a bloody good percentage profit for doing sod all but clicking a mouse
So I'm glad to say flea bay has always come up trumps for me. You just need a bit of self control and not get carried away when bidding set your max amount then leave it at that especially if like me its a business venture. I will admit when purchasing I've occasionally been guilty of using a shill (go on jump on me see if I care :lolsmile but to be honest though eBay don't allow the such a thing it’s common practice in all types of auctions. Having been going to all types of auction, Animal, machinery, vehicle, antique, household, property etc since I was a toddler I can guarantee you a lot of auctioneers I know shill. After all the auction company works on commission and more than once I've heard the saying a good auctioneer only needs one bidder he will pull the rest from thin air.
Like I said love it is a strong phrase but none the less. Keep a level head do your research don't get carried away and it's a great place to make money or grab your self a bargain.
:)

Goosey, what have you brought dunno

Got a Digital SLR and two lenses and 2mb flash card unused. Sent more info in pm lol
Knitters
Stamp collectors
And a Sheddy who came to Dover and didn't say hello?
Im going off this place! youre all weird :scared:
Not as good as it used to be, its quite hared to find bargains sometimes. It seems some people will pay over the odds just to win the bid, great for the seller though.
Have had some great bargains though, a fantastic guitar just recently for a quarter of its value! lol

It's full of bargains but that means unfortunately that I have massive geek outs on there buying entire runs of comics and end up spending a fortune.
I got a full set of Judge Dredd annuals off there - I was so pleased, despite the fact there were only about 6 I didn't have.
But I still thought, 'Bargain'.
Maye I should actually try selling some stuff?
Never got on with ebay.
Mr G could browse for hours, only actually purchased something for someone else tho rolleyes
My boss tells me she has loads of bargins from there...and when I need her, guess where she is.....counting down the time till her bid wins another useless item!
Too addictive it seems - and I only have time for one addiction
