ok, never been to a club in my life (yet 
) but it occurs to me that going as a single guy would be kind of like going to the cinema on your own - enjoyable yes, but not as much fun as with a friend!! 
therefore - dont stress about the extra charge for single guys, just find yourself a partner-in-crime! :lol:

yes, have been to the Liason club in Rochdale a few times, very nice place and freindly people; but can't persuade the Mrs to go and hence pay single prices.
any lovely fems out there want to accompany me will be greatly recieved (to any club in the North West).
On in Bolton, called Club Selecta, but only allows a handful of singles each night after paying £50/yr membership, you have no guarantee of getting in on the night anyway. :twisted:

thing is there are more men than women in the swinging scene so to encourage them to go to the clubs they are cheeper, be it single or part of a couple, they will never be a shortage of single guys wanting to go so the clubs can afford to charge them more, and lets be honest single men are where the clubs make most of their money, if you don't think its fair don't go

of course i understand thereason behindit and also to reduce the single men as tobe honest, some of them are an absolute pain in the backside.
in a club, i alway talk to people to get to kow them and wait until i am asked to join in, as swinging is about socialising i think and not about sex, which is the by product.
but as u know, some men's brains are between their legs and give others a bad name.

If gay couples got in clubs at the same cost as m/f couples, there would no doubt be many many single men who would claim to be gay just to get in the club. Similar to single males wanting a female to go in with so that they appear to be a couple.

You're absolutely right kjb01. Although there are single females that attend clubs unescorted they are a rarity. In nearly 5 years of attending clubs at least once a week we have probably seen less than half a dozen so a singles-only club would be predominately male and so have the feel of a gay club to it ie. no women.
Clubs are businesses not charities. Their pricing structure reflects the best way to get people through the door. Open a club with no restrictions on the single men and don't give the couples a price incentive and you will achieve a very large imbalance of males to couples and females. This will drive most of the couples that do try it elsewhere as they begin to feel overwhelmed and so the imbalance will grow. Again the club will be almost solely male.
