Just curious to see how the land lies in terms of our modern culture and the equality of the sexes. In a bar or club or some such place do women and men take the initiative equally to chatting in the opposite sex? Compared to 10 years ago I'd say so as I seem to get more approaches these days, but interested to hear the experiences of others.

In a pub/club etc would you usually approach members of the opposite sex?
Strange one this.
Most of my vanilla mates think I've got "The gift of the gab".
If we're having a girls night out and one of them sees something they like - I have no problem going up and starting a conversation with a bunch of blokes and getting everyone talking.
If it was somebody I was interested in myself I used to clam up and just couldn't approach them

But that wouldn't require a change to the perceived norm would it - in the same way that the increase in women approaching men apparantly does.
I mean woman to woman or man to man one of them must always have approached the other otherwise no one would ever have had fun. :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:
