now the subject has been brought up, how about a proper discussion on it? I wouldn't know where to start but a few pointers would be good. The only thing I have seen is the Indian (?) carvings of the Kama Sutra which are fantastic, but what else is out there?
It surely boils down to what you as an individual find "erotic", personally its a look. I have a drawing I done a few years ago, that to this day I find erotic img] where as a contempory artist whos work i like very much, has much the same feeling. It is not rude but I find it quite erotic

Wow just checked out the Eric Stanton pics of Brigette Bardot, nothing rude, not even nudity but that woman exuded sex! beautiful! There's some really good artwork amongst those artists works, I love the vampire stuff and Felicien Rops stuff with women who are not stick insects, very attractive. I think music can be very erotic too, a sexy voice and a low, sexy bassline can do wonders!
I posted a few of the pics I have a while ago in another thread, I am a big fan of B&W photography and Michael Vahle in particular. The pic below is one of my favourites but others might find this quite boring.......it's such a subjective thing.
Thats a lovely pic Serendipity of Michael Vahle, he is very very good. I like the particular phota above because it leaves a lot to the imagination, his nudes are lovely! I love black aand white photoghraphy, some great stuff around. I like Angelica @ Dream Visions as well.....oh an so many more!!! xanaisx
I like all different things and depends on my mood or feeling. I suppose like most I respond to images that I imagine myself in. This is true of all art I think not just erotic images. Favourites include Harukawa Namio - I used to use as my avatar on here - Just love them. There are tons of his his images on the web and there is a group full of these images if anyone is intereseted. In Photography I love - not all his images are erotic there is also social comentary and some darker issues but I really love his pics. His website is full of pics. My favourite mainstream artist is Jack Vetrianno he is not an erotic artist but many of his pictures are very sensual and I especially like one called ::Edited to fix links::
That pic is fab Seren, that is the sort of thing that I find sexy, it just shows a little and leaves a lot to the imagination, like your avatar one of panties around your(?) ankles. I think pics that suggest rather than just show all are incredibly sexy and erotic.

Very much so (glad you and Anais liked it! ).........everything on show is so lacking in eroticism, partial shade/clothing can make a world of difference! I'd love to be artistic enough to take these kind of photos and make a living from it - I wonder if how many erotic artists can? a lot seem to do more "respectable" work too. P.S. Not my own ankles, sadly!
Some of the best erotic art I saw was on a wall in a pub toilet. I know it sounds naff but this stuff was really well done by a proper artist . It showed retro war-era ladies in skimpy underwear. It didnt look much when close up taking a leak, but it looked fantastic when yu stepped back.

Mmmm I visited, I studied, I drooled! I didn't think it was possible to have a photogenic bum but Silky does! You did a great job with the pics Silky & Big G, some in particular were VERY erotic and the use of black and white is such a constrast to your usual sunny pics! Some like the one in this thread look as if they were purposely over exposed (?) which suits them well. I left a message on the site for you about my faves and a suggestion for the next shoot! I'd highly recommend a viewing to all the pic lovers on SH :thumbup:
i do semi pro erotic photography somtimes, 4 couples, singles ect, and Its a very strange art form. peoples perception of what is, for them, erotic is very different to the next person ... so all in all i have captured some truely awe inspireing photos in the past. i just thought i should add that food 4 thought

We find all sorts of things erotic , but often the more 'arty' shots arent really appreciated by our average surfer. Yes Silky has a photogenic bum , it matches the rest of her , and I get an easy job to make lovely pictures with such an awsome subject . Were truly flattered you liked them . xxxx
many reasons really. i guess the main one, is that i really enjoy creating art. Although i cant say the money doesnt play a factor, me being a student an all. hmmm Serendipity are those your legs under ur name... as i would just love to take a few shoots of those ... mmm think about it ;) :P
