Well wot can we say...................................nice to meet old and new friendly faces,good time had by all. Errrrrrrrrrrr Chardonnay.................thanks for nearly breakin my legs wen u sat on me,the thing you did't realise at the time was that my boots was resting on Mr Muttleys lap and the metal heels dug into his crown jewels!!!!.

Big THANK YOU to DeniseBabe and Mister_Discreet for organising a great night. DeniseBabe you surprised me when you told me it was the *first* Munch in Essex, surely not the last???
As our first munch we were nervous/excited but once we got chatting with people we were put well at ease - so a big THANKS to everyone we met in particular LibraLove, Mr. GenHertsCpl, MrsFC, Kinky Essex, Breezer and Fiona & Jed. To anyone we've forgotten to mention sorry but the evening seemed to go so quickly! We had a great time and look forward to the next one - where/when is it???

Brilliant night followed by a brilliant Sunday wink

I will add my thanks to Denise_Babe and Mr_Discreet for organising a great munch, the end of the evening came much to soon. :cry:
It was really great to see people I already knew and to put faces to names for some of the people I have wanted to meet.
I will not try and mention everyone I met as I am bound to miss someone out but a special mention to Tanina for her VERY nice boots. :twisted: , to Marmalaid who's outfit was rather a contrast to the Notts Munch lol

A brilliant night and a VERY big thank you to Denise and Mr_D. A great munch and a very nice venue.
I met so many new faces and old friends that I couldn't possibly mention them all.
And to really top the night off I think I actually managed to meet everyone that attended. (That'll have to go down as a first.....lol{Please feel free to correct me if I missed saying hello to anyone})
Had a great evening for the pre-munch party at Tatty's on Friday evening even if it was full of "suvverners" eh Layzeeboy??.........lol and a brilliant evening at the munch itself. Followed by a great party at Essexlady's
And thank you for putting up with me staying at yours and also a big sorry for waking you up on Sunday morning Essexlady, but a brilliant chill-out and chat.
Really looking forward to the next one.

It's wonderful to see so many positive responses, it's really made all the effort worthwhile biggrin

If anyone out there is thinking about running their first munch, I have two pieces of advice for you: Firstly, go for it, you'll have an amazing sense of achievement when you see all those happy horny drunken faces, and secondly, don't try and do it alone! As I'm sure you are aware, Denise put in a huge amount of work in on this, and this was her munch much more than mine, without her the night simply wouldn't have happened. 3 cheers for Denise!

I'm sorry I didn't get more of a chance to actually talk to people, but by the time I'd finished running around it was time to go home, so please accept my apologies if I appeared to be a shambling bundle of stress rather than a genteel and eloquent host!
I'd also like to make up for an omission I made when I was suddenly handed the mic and expected to give a speech... There is one thing you need to make a munch a success, and that is a crowd of amazing people to make the journey there and party the night away. Even the bar staff commented they had never seen so many people drink so much without tempers rising, so please imagine me giving you lot the round of applause you should have had on the night. You were great :D

It was a fantastic munch, - Great to spend time with those near us, those we have not seen since the last munch we went to, and those we were meeting for the first time.
It was even nice missing a few out this time round, I always end up with a list of people I MEANT to meet, and never quite got round to it - gives you something to look forward to at the next munch! rolleyes

Just popped in to thank Denise and Mr_D for a job well done in organising a wonderful one.
Also special thanks go to Essexlady for putting up with so many northerners under one roof, thanks hun; to Lazeeboy for giving us some vital chav spotting tips, good game at first but omg, so many. It became harder spotting the non-chavs lol

To all the people i spoke to at the munch, some for the first time, and some that i had met before, thanks for making my first munch a pleasurable one
And last, but not least, to Marcuso, Cathy and Vicky for being road buddies for the drive to chav central biggrin

The other thing I can't believe is how little a monetary contribution was asked for to have the privilege of having a DJ (or were services volunteered for free anyway?) and taking over half their space for the evening.
Any other even vaguely commercial event like this (such as would be organised by many other contact sites I'm sure) would be charging, well, at least triple that, absolute bare minimum. Goes to show the kind of self-less and friendly approach we have here.
