Hi all

Could any one help with this one ????? :idea:
when can and can't you PM other members?
is there a difference in the forum as opposed to the chatroom?

You can pm whenever you like as far as I am aware..

I don't mind who pm's me
If its constructive and fun i always answer.....
if its reads something like
"hello u ok" or even "hi im a guy u wanna fuck" then i just delete them lol

As you asked if there was a difference between here and the chatroom I presumed you knew not to pm without asking in the chatroom which is why you asked if its ok to pm in the forum without first asking....
Thread would be pointless otherwise wouldnt it..

In the Forum, as far as i'm aware, there are no rules governing whether you need to ask permission or not...... as it would be rather difficult to ask...... lol..... withiout pm-ing.
In the Chatroom, its a whole different ball-game... you must ask for and receive permission to pm someone, otherwise you are breaking the user rules of the chatroom and ultimately could be kicked out for it.

The difference between a Chat PM and a Forum PM is in the forum it's not intrusive... it doesn't pop up and disrupt what you're doing, you go read it whenever you want, so the specific reason that unsolicited PMs are not allowed in chat doesn't apply in the forum.
The only etiquette regarding unsolicited forum PMs that I'm aware of is that you be respectful and don't pester, especially if the recipient doesn't know you.

I've tried to insert punctuation and I've tried reading between the lines, the only thing that I can come up with is that you already have dealings with this guy spamming on the chatroom, is this correct?

what happened was i got a telling off when i pmd someone
i said sorry in same PM ......and got told off again...... by the recipient , not by any -one moderating or anythin.
