What excuses have you given to family or work colleagues for your sudden interest in visiting just about every town in the country and explaining all your new 'friends' that they have never heard you talk of before biggrin

rotflmao oh how we can relate we've never been to so many weddings, birthdays, bookgroups ;) lmao
Eventually ... we said we'd just joined an internet forum and people want names to faces and that seemed to pacify our parents!

Oh yes - we like that one - keep em coming :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
As far as my Mum and vanilla mates are concerned, you're all a bunch of online gamers, specifically Battlefield:2142 players. lol
Our workmates are such party animals. lol
xxxx
I went back to university as a mature student and the younger students are all engaged, married, having girly nights, babies, 21st/30th/40th. birthday parties. Then there are teacher forum meets, school reunions, going out with ex-workmates. All sorts of excuses smile

We're running out of barbecues - 'specially now the weather is getting worse lol
The worst ones are when the in laws are babysitting at ours instead of having the kids overnight and then suddenly realising on the way home from a club that I went out with dry straight hair and am now coming home after romping in a jacuzzi all night
Still not worked an excuse out for that one!

Oooo - it was raining soooo hard in Bristol/Aberdeen/London etc lmao innocent
I've never felt the need to make up an excuse, though I am continually having to deflect my youngest's constant question "are you tag teaming a married couple Dad?"
Kids today huh? rolleyes

well it's your fault for letting them watch WWF biggrin :D
When I went to the Oxford BBW social recently.. I told the elderly ladies I care for that I went to a party for big beautiful women... they would have choked on their cocoa if they had really known what I was up to.....
wink
Fortunately I have a hobby which means I meet people from all over the country on a regular basis so one of em is bound to be having a birthday or something every now and then :-)
I don't really make anything up other than saying I am visiting friends.
I like to keep my lies simple. I find it more effective that way!

I love the challenge of finding a new excuse tho biggrin :D
recently i was talking to a friend when i absent mindedly mentioned going to a club as soon as it came out my mouth i thought oh fook and was very relieved when he said what sort of club a music one yes i agreed very quickly crossing everything that he didn't ask to join us sometime as he is big on his music :gagged:
So you didn't offer to play his piccolo then? dunno
nooooooooooooooooo he is a very vanilla friend :scared:
i think my mum n her fella might b onto us too they always seem to split us up n question us as to our plans ffs glad the kuds r funally old enough to leave home alone although that said they have started askin questions but so far we seem to b able to get away with "just out" lol

A tried and trusted method for me too
you all started off as an online wiccan community i was going off to meet
after the first few i never said anything about who people were i was going to meet, my mam and some of my family have also met quite a few of you now socially
my sisters and all my mates know, my mam i guess has made her own mind up considering all the orgies she keeps saying i am going to, that or my sister has grassed lol
i dont think she would really care given the amount of really good mates i have met and how i enjoy my life.
Earthy xx
