Following on from HLB’s mini rant-et regarding the lack of male pictures on couple profiles, I find myself wondering if women are just naturally much more exhibitionistic than men.
On the face of it, it would seem to be a straightforward yes. The shear number of female to male pictures would imply far more exhibitionistic women than men. However when the single men are taken into account the disparity suddenly shifts the other way.(relative numbers taken into account)
Single men seem to have no problem “Displaying†in a photo. Couple women seem to have no problem either, so why are couple men so reluctant?
My reply to HLB in the steam room was only half in jest. I am shy and I do realise that where Fire can rely on her good looks to win over people very easily, I need to steer folks quickly past the packaging and on to the contents in order to make a favourable impression. Maybe other couple men feel the same.

perhaps with the shear glut of mens willies on here..... there seems to be a kind of feeling amongst those who are less willing to get their bits out in public that women are as shallow about mens willies and looks as the men are themselves? I don't mean that to be too offensive although I know that it comes across that way.
I know that women who PM me...talk about how much they like "talking" to me. Men who PM make some crude reference about what they would like to do to me.. how much they like my tarten dress.... ummmmm can I f@@k their wife for her b'day

Maybe it's because as a couple, if they're looking for a single guy then the guy will be far more interested in how the wife looks than the hubby and the same could be said when looking for bi fems I guess. We put pics of Timmy up, but when we're actively looking there will be more pics of me, as it's often single males we are looking for.
I'd do the same I think for a bi woman ad as well.
If we were going to advertise for a couple I'd make sure they were equal, I think, but we haven't done it, so I can't be sure. It would depend on the success we had with that format I suppose.

I'm not just going to look at her all night, I want to know from the profile pic if the couple are people I'm likeley to find attractive, ( I know a lot of people say you can't tell from a pic but I think you can to a certain degree), not just her.
