i am not far from the bomd that went off in east london in which 2 people died this morning, after watching the news and reading these posts, i cant understand what all these innocent people, children, have done wrong to these f---ing ba---rds as i cant call them human or people, ive got people in work crying that they cant contact there husbands or wifes, ive had my partner on the phone saying are our kids ok, i wish i could catch them i would make them hold hands and shoot 1 at a time.
Guys I have just got home and read this thread,
My thoughts and prayers are also with everyone who is involved in any way at all.
I too am on standby so I would appreciate your thoiughts too cos my hubby is still unwell and officially still in hosp although he is on home leave.
Praying for everyone
Just to put this into perspective:
Shortly before 9 this morning I left a friend (a forum member) just outside Kensington in West London. He was heading off to catch the tube to go to various locations across the city.
I have no idea if he has been involved, though as best as I can tell – he would not have reached the incident areas.
new emergency number for casulties.....it was up here but some people complained

Sympathies to any who don't know if their loved ones are OK.
We found out fairly soo that our son and daughter in law are OK so we're very relieved.
Have no words just now for what has happened.
Hi everyone
Well we have our son home safe and well,i had to walk ,bus and take a taxi to Paddington but got there, well picked him up couldn't head back the way because of a suspect package in a to my son to find out what happened he said he had been stuck on the train between stations for over two hours,he was eventually lead through the tunnel to Bayswater which was one stop away from paddington where he needed to be,but what really hit me was that Edgware Road was only the next stop after that,he was only two trains behind the one that exploded!....whenever there has been a terrorist attack we've always seen it from the safety of the TV....i tell you its not nice when you are part of it!
Dave

Certainly not a good day to be working in London today ... initially news was that it was a power surge that cause the explosion at Aldgate ... but as further news came in, became clear that it was worse than that. I work at Canary Wharf and at one point, one of the guys heard from a mate at Lehman's up the road that the police had shot and killed a suicide bomber at Canary Wharf !!!
Thoughts and prayers go out to all.
Today has not been the nicest, and has been extremely emotional, even for those of us without relatives and friends in London.
The people who did this are probably proud - because they achieved their goal!!!
Only thing I hope is that they ROT IN HELL OR WHEREEVER THEIR SOULS ARE SUPPOSED TO GO.

Seriously though, sentiments echoed and thoughts with those in London.

Same thoughts and hugs to all who went through the terror of the unknown today; i.e. not being able to contact loved ones known/thought to be in the areas involved. Happy to know those sought or mentioned on here are safe and well.
Coming from a military background, my thoughts and prayers continue to be with those whose agony has just started - the wives, husbands, sons, daughters etc of the medical services who will now be trying to comfort the injured and the bereaved; to the wives, husbands, sons, and daughters of our armed forces; those who will remain at risk of being bereaved by the continued threat.
Fred aka Medic1; our loved ones accept the risks when they sign up but it doesn't make it any easier for those left at home worrying. Hugs to you and the rest of your family.
equi-princess; your husband is involved in a professional capacity? I hope he is home safe with you and continues to remain at your side. if he is also in the military, my prayers to you and yours.
To any and all who have family and/or loved ones in the armed forces; special prayers for you all that they are returned to you safe and sound as quickly as possible.
Once the dust has settled and you are able to hug your loved one, please spare a thought for those whose agony is prolonged as mentioned above.
xx

Glad all is ok!
Relax, have a drink and be grateful for what you have got.
Been waiting for a while to hear from my sister.
She has just contacted me to say all is fine.
Hugs to all who are still waiting for news from loved ones and hugs to all who have endured the same agonies as me for the afternoon and evening.
