the extras lounge is for those who have paid for the extras membership.
the stealth cammimg idea was reviewed and the desision was taken to remove that aspect, rightly so. Im sure most members are pleased that this happened as alot of people felt more comfortable with gooing on cam again.

I think the point's pretty clear. The majority of people here joined a free site set up and run by swingers.
The site was sold to a company who made it into a pay site. As a result some members have already left and set up a free site of their own. Most of the old members use both sites.
Now the admin aare here to make a profit and they didn't just give us a year for free out of the goodness of their hearts.
In order for the dite to be worth the money new members are paying they need a large membership to attract Swingers. The reality is if the old members had to pay from the offset, they would have left in droves.
If when you originally joined the site, the forum and chatrooms were empty and there were hardly any ads, would you have parted with your hard earned cash? dunno

I don't know where we are going with this. Everyone jumps in feet first accusing me of free member bashing! All I'm saying is that in terms of business decision SH may have made a blunder with the extras package especially as it degrades my service with extended levels of downtime and limitations on pictures/ poor reporting of status etc.
I have parted with hard earned cash. Some have parted with half as much again for the extras and are now wondering why the extras lounge is empty ( rememember the thread) why the stealth cam (one of the features) has been disabled etc

That specific point was regarding the admin's decision to give existing members 1 year for free.
With regards to the extras package, I can see where you're coming from. There are some services which I think are quite worthwhile - others totally useless.
I can understand why people would be asked to pay extra to have extra pics. I can see the usefulness of the facility to see who's looked at your profile, but I also agree that the extras lounge isn't much use.
At the end of the day the extras package is not necessary to utilise the main features of this site e.g. The Ads, chatroom and forum. So if you don't think it's worth the money then don't have it.
If the admin don't get much revenue from this then I'm sure they'll start to look at ways to improve it - they are a business after all

So someone has a moan because they paid extra....and for that reason when they went into the extra's lounge it was empty......well what was they expecting wall to wall pussy just because they dipped into their pockets.....if people want to pay for the extras that's their business.....just don't expect eveyone to have done the same.....well not overnight anyway....SH may have been around a few years but that was the old SH....you should look upon SH as a very new site that has just been set up with only few members and how its membership will grow in time(paying members that is)....if by next December when i log on and try to PM someone it says i have to pay ...well i for one will just leave simple as that....but will SH fall apart just because alot of us will leave.....No!!...there will always be people out there who will continue to pay but it will just take time to build the membership up again but i do think there are members on this site that are an asset to the SH community...and i hope in there wisdom Admin try to keep them here..

im going to bow out now , this is for a few reasons, 1, im blonde and confused but i dont see why my first post was attaced to HLB post when i has replyed myself???
the othe rreason is i cant be bothered to worry about this anymore. im off to find me some fun :twisted:
