I can understand why people don't like it and have every sympathy but I think it's a done deal again.
As I don't cam or have any pics etc in my profile I'm not being innundated with winks nor do I have to worry about people stalking me in stealth mode, however, there is no point in admin introducing these extras and then offering members opt out options.
How would you feel if you'd paid for the extra services only to find that a huge chunk of the members have opted out.
Admittedly your complaint for being unable to watch others without their knowledge, and/or sending numerous winks to them will be dealt with more swiftly than someone whose only paid for basic membership, but at the end of the day you've paid for these services and expect them to be there.

am not sure if it is already the case,but for the people who do not bother to read the " details of extras", would it not be the decent thing to put up a warning to tel them that they wont be able to know who is watching them in cam?
i just think that unless people are in posession of all the facts, then they can not make the right choice.

one thing i didnt like is the whole stealth mode thing.
Ok if i go on cam i would actually like to have the option of who views the cam, rather than everone one being able to. this option is not available.
There are various reasons for this.... there are some people who i dont want seeing me, this may be because they are being rude, whispering without asking etc. The option to avoid this at the moment is to turn the cam off, but why should this have to happen? it could be avoided by having invite option added. Thereby enhancing the comfort of the cammer.
i know the other option is to go into a private room, but not all of us cam only to "put on a show" some it is to actually just show faces. So want to stay in your regular room but avoid the show me your tits whispers.
however i now notice under the extras package those who have it can actually view a persons cam without their knowledge.... ohhhh stalker and creepy in my opinion. Thefore i have now decided that i will no longer go on cam.
it seems bizarre that you have to ask to whisper some one , however this facility allows someone to view you without you even knowing.
am i the only one who is uncomfortable with this thought?

Have to say I totally agree with you the idea of people viewing me on cam without my knowledge is creepy. Will be sticking to the private rooms if i cam from now on. I also like the idea of us being able to choose who views us on cam.

I kind of get the comments about the cam thing and why should people be able to watch without you knowing, but then...
If you only want a selected few or friends to watch - use a passworded room?
If you want to be selective about who watches you - why use an open to all room?
When there are large groups of people watching cams - it is unlikely the cammers 'know' who most of the people are - there are bound to be a % who are nothing more than just a usernames.

I have been in a room with my cam on PoloLady and while I was happy enough for the majority of people to watch me (I normally only show my face anyway) there are one or 2 people that I feel uncomfortable about watching me.... Now I wont know if they are watching me or not and therefore I wont turn the cam on... It sort of spoils it for the rest of the gits who like to take the piss :lol2:
The upshot of it is that I used to have the option to turn the cam off if I didn't like who was watching me, now I dont know...

I have to be honest and say I agree that this one is a bit weird - the only reason I can see for wanting to watch someone on cam without them knowing is if it was someone you knew wouldn't appreciate you watching.
This strikes me as seriously suspect.
For me I am quite happy to be an open perve if I do go into the cam rooms.

Feel inclined to agree with this, when we have cammed we have had anything up to 70 people watching, havn't a clue who 99.9% of them are whether or not their username is there. We can't see that it matters, if you want to cam to select people only then keep it in a private room
