not a bad race at all...and good to see Mr Webber get a result, I rather like him (for the moment hehe)
and the leaderboard has closed up a little, always exciting.
I think our antipodian counterpart was rather pleased with the result

hope massa is improving, nasty accident, thank goodness they have good medics at the track
Should be an interesting race today.
Top race, glad to see Lewis and team back on top, very sorry to see Bunsen Burner not doing so well... come on Ross, pull your finger out!
According to Rubens Barrichello's tweet a few moments ago he is going to the hospital to check up on Massa... so hope he is going to be okay!
All in all, a good Sunday so far! smile
I know I´m on holiday but cant resist the F1
I´m amazed at the odds of Massa being hit in the manner he did so soon after poor Surtees RIP.
I would think you have better odds on winning the lottery than that, and I wish Massa a speedy recovery, even if he does drive for Ferrari.
It just goes to show if you are a talented driver around a difficult circuit you can still win even if you do not have the best car.
Well done Hamilton
No matter what people think about Max, you can be assured that if it wasn't for his changes to safety, Massa would certainly be lying in a morgue right now.

late call or not, get the covers off the tyres!

Safety was being campaigned(sp) about/for long before Her Moseley came on the scene..

I agree. That must have been one of McLaren's weakest excuses ever.
So frustrating! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

wish they would just say yeah late call we screwed up but hey we are competative again
A well deserved win for Ruebens, he's been the 'nearly' man for too long under MS and recently JB.
Good luck to them both for the rest of the season.

The spin doctor that is Martin Whitmarsh :lol2:

Totally agree with you there. Rubens has had many potential wins "taken away" from him. This time there was no excuse and he could just drive to a well deserved win.

Barricello/Brawn... Button/Brawn... Hamilton/... ?oh no, hang on a minute.... :fnarr: Raikkonen/f******
jolly good racing, I enjoyed that.
Excellant on-board cameras too.

How many teeth does Barrichello have?
Surely he has too many teeth?

Gutted, lewis out 1st lap last time an last this! Good race but would have liked to c Lewis have a go at Button....now that would hav been good.
Time for the Singapore GP, scene of crashgate. When Piquet jnr was told to crash so the safety could come out and put Alonso his team mate in the lead from 14th.
Romain Grosjean is Alonso's new team mate, in practice yesturday guess where, and how he crashed.....................yes you got it right exactly the same corner and manner withing a few feet.
rotflmao
I saw that (was watching freeview box thingy channel 301) and you had to feel sorry for the bloke :lol2:

well, I wouldn't want to give away anything of the result for those who may be saving your viewing for later in the day, but oooh myyy goodness!
Tempers were understandably heated after the what can only be described as underhand tactics employed in both pit-lane chicane maneouvre...
... but that dreadfull demonstration of both childish and violent behaviour on the podium was simply outrageous and childish beyond belief!!!
Wild and what can only be described as inflamatory gesticulation has no place in such a professional sport... and as for the spitting.. well!!!
Perhaps the garage fire for ferrari immediately following this outrage can be chalked up as devine retribution?
I sincerely hope no-one was hurt, though the talk now of a permanant ban for the team from the sport is no bad thing in the circumstances. After all, the flamable materials ignited in thier garage were, it appears, destined for thier rivals refueling rigs.

talking of Ferrari...
The Ferrari Formula 1 team fired their entire pit crew yesterday.
The announcement followed Ferrari's decision to take advantage of the UK Government's Youth Opportunity Scheme and employ people from the Gorbals.
The decision to hire them followed a recent documentary on how unemployed youths from the Gorbals in Glasgow were able to remove a set of wheels in less than 6 seconds without proper equipment, whereas Ferrari's existing crew can only do it in 8 seconds with millions of euros worth of high tech equipment.
Prime Minister Gordon Brown went on record as saying this is a bold move by the Ferrari management which demonstrated the international recognition of the UK under New Labour.
As most races are won and lost in the pits, Ferrari thought they had the advantage over every team.
However, Ferrari got more than they bargained for. At the first practice session, the Gorbals pit crew successfully changed the tyres in less than 6 seconds, but within 12 seconds they had re-sprayed, re-badged and sold the vehicle to the McLaren team for 8 bottles of Carlsberg Special, 50 ecstasy tablets and some photos of Lewis Hamilton's bird in the shower.
Thats nearly as old as you GnV...
