Face pics / Tips for a new single guy

I'm giving the scene and this site a go after becoming a single guy again and I'm looking for any advice on the best way to meet people and make some new friends.
I know us single chaps are ten a penny really so any advice will be warmly received!
I know a lot of ads ask for face pics (understandably) but I was a bit concerned about non genuine types getting hold of them - am I worrying for nothing?

Just put your face pics in your Pvt gallery and only invite people once you get to know them better

Get you hair cut really - like really really short - barely more than a shave over the top - that's what they like - god knows why - and it's bloody cold too!

To summarise what I've learned then:
1. Face pics should go in my private gallery. That's actually pretty good advice, thanks.
2. A skinhead will be useful in attracting partners - not so sure about that fellas I'll stick with the short back & sides for now!
3. Buy a Ferrari?! Maybe not eh?
Armed with this invaluable information I will re-enter the fray with renewed confidence and vigour watch out!
And remember Serendipity in the words of my Swiss namesake "making love to a beautiful woman is a lot like making a cup of coffee: it's got to be hot, you've got to take your time....you've got to grind your beans until they squeak!!!!"

Don't cut your hair too short, some of us ladies like the dishevelled look.

I've opted to sport a cut I'd describe as short but attractively "tousled". Not too long but something to run your fingers through!
