I have already put this topic in one of the other forums, but i feel strongly about it so i am putting it here as well! We have had nothing but trouble with collectors and fakes im sure that we are not the only ones who have had this problem? or are we? What about giving them thier own area so that those of us that are genuinly seeking others can be left alone to do so? if we want to swap pics then we can go to them? What do you think?

We have a standard face pic of us both which is the only one we will send untill we are happy that everyone is genuine.. its a very none disript pic and so we have no probs in sending it.
hiya guys we spent over a £100 on aff for a years gold membership,spoke to one really nice couple met them,and lo and behold they were atleast 10 years older than there pics suggested,we beat a very hasty retreat and then decided we would try a club,at least at clubs there are no fakes and pic collectors,best thing we ever did
There does seem to be a large number of pic collectors or time wasters out there. I replied to an ad on here and met up with a couple on Sunday night (my first!), I was asking them about it and they'd had well over a hundred replies of which only 3, myself included, appeared to be genuinely seeking to meet up. It really amazes me that so many people will mess others about that much. I think one of the reasons they pretty much refused to give me a pic so I knew what they looked like is because they were fed up with the wasters.

Has anyone had any luck on aff? I've given it a go but it seems completely useless to me. Might be because I'm yet another single guy in a sea of single guys, of course.
I just posted an ad last week and surprise surprise 1 reply (on aff) and guess what from a guy (whos profile states hes looking for one on one sex??) even though our is listed as looking for a female?? I think he has gender dyslexia or something! I had got all excited when I seen the message what a disappointment, as for flashing your pussy, ass etc hehe well lots of fun, call me a slapper but I dont care, I can hardly grumble too much as I did put them there but would be nice to have a decent reply! Can live in hope eh :roll:

The only reply I had from anyone I messaged on AFF (so far) was a woman I wasn't even interested in (she was after guys, but was way too far away and was into things I wasn't). I only messaged her to say I loved her profile because it was very amusing and quite derogatory of many of the previous responses she'd had there. She replied back to say "thanks, it's much appreciated".

Ah yes, but as a woman you're bound to have better luck than us single guys, right?
I really don't see the point in faking it, why do people do it? If you are going to meet up then the person in the pic doesn't show they are bound to get a negative response. I personally stay in my car until the person I am meeting arrives then if I recognise them from their pic that is fine, if not I would drive away. I don't see the point in lying about anything because it would just lead to disappointment and things going wrong when I wasn't who or what I claimed to be. Honesty can be a very under-rated but absolutely essential part of meeting people. I would prefer to be completely honest then if someone isn't interested in the real me thats just fine because I will get replies from people who will appreciate who I am.

That's an easy way of doing ,all meet up at a swingers club at least your know the genuine ones when they turn nothing worse than arranging a meet you turn up as a couple and when the couple arrive its just a guy who says" my wife is ill tonight but i am sure we can have fun". yeah right!!

Never heard of aff, don't know what it is, don't care either. SH is free, always has been, and the owner is determined that it always will be, and there isn't a paysite in the world that can match what Mark and his team have built here. Sure, you'll get some piss-takers trying to exploit the open, all-inclusive nature of this community for unHeavenly purposes, but they don't last because, and this is the difference, the people who run this place really care about it, and their efforts to keep it real, spot the numpties and send them packing, are nothing short of heroic. As for being a single guy, you'll find yourself in the majority here too, but although the ladies are selective, because let's face it - they can afford to be, some of them are also notoriously greedy. I don't think being a single guy is a handicap in here.
