Just got onto Talksport again (Sports breakfast show), woohoo!!!
Talksport many years ago Tommy Boyd show before he got the boot
The Bill even longer ago!!
I feel any minute now Equity will be knocking on my door asking me to join ;)
Seriously I always have Talksport on whilst on swinging heaven, does everyone else have:- silence, radio (which station?), music, tv or what???
Well my big radio claim to fame was being on the Big Quiz on Steve Wright on Radio Two - have also been on Jeremy Vine (always trying to get onto Ken Bruce's PopMaster but never managed to yet!
Listening wise I have just discovered Radio on Messenger - lets you rate the songs as they play and selects other stuff you will like. As a bit of a folky dokey it has some great tunes for me lol
Got to be Talksport. Mike Dicken - cool, Hawksbee & Jacobs - brill.
Cascarino however trys but cant hack it
well McGuinness
my radio claim to fame was yodelling live on the James Whale Show, Radio Aire, in about 1984. i was admittedly piss poor, but i'm still dining out on that one.
my other claim to fame was getting absolutely trashed with Frank Sidebottom, Mrs Merton, Midge Ure and The Farm, after crashing the after show party at Yorkshire Telly. completely irrelevant to the question i know, but i just wanted to get that in. about me mingling with the not-so-rich and a-little-bit-famous and stuff. ;)
i can't remember the last time i actually watched telly, but i generally have something loud with lots of guitars on while i post away like a lunatic on here.
neil x x x ;)
I was on a local radio station when I started going into labour
I had a letter printed in The Star when I was 10. Won 3 quid.
Richard Madely used to shop at the greengrocers I worked at in Manchester - and no, he didn't nick anything!
Have music on,always.
Right now:Mary Chapin Carpenter time*sex*love
It says on the back cover:
*time is the great gift
*sex is the great equalizer
*love is the great mystery
Oh KK this is a great CD. Really really like MCC a lot. Not the best CD player in the world but it stops it getting scratched when its not playing :!: Took this pic last year for a photo comp and just happened to choose this CD!!! redface
Nice pic Celticq !!!
Personaly I listen to Radio 2 ... although some of the evening shows can be a bit hit or miss
Celtiq, novel use of CD, or is that nouvelle? ive heard of goin out wearing a smile.....
Listeningwise, music but sometimes i stick a DVD on and watch that in the corner whilst on here, jesus a man who can multi task ! biggrin
