Does anyone really believe in fashion holding a specific space anymore? things such as flares or mini's or two tone blah de bullshit blah blah. I seem to think that it is all a bit muddled now with most things sitting happily next to others. There are things which maybe just go that one bit further such as the bullshit ( Dunno how to change the name of a link :redsmile but in general. Does anyone believe in seasonal or yearly fashions have or play a role in life today, or is it just jobs for the bullshit boys. Bullshit being fed to us by TV's bullshit guru's appearing on bullshit things such as 'This (full of bullshit)Morning'
You're bored aintcha lol
As those who know me know, I'm a complete slave to fashion  :lol2:
NOT
Like you I refuse to be taken in by the whole 'Fashion RipOff' scene
That said it's a huge multi million £ industry which employs many thousands of people so I guess while there are the gullible brand name addicts about they are keeping some in employment and helping the economy. each to their own I guess dunno
Now I know theres the whole 'ethical trading argument that runs alongside this subject that i'm not getting into here. Sweat shops and all that but i think thats another topic.
as for me? 3 quid jeans and T'shirts from tesco might not elevate me to the ranks of high fashion, but they do allow me to put more food on the table. Matter of priorities I guess and if people are shallow enough to judge me by what I wear then I'm probably better off not knowing them anyway.

You do look like you're wasting away to nothing Pete, are you trying to get down to size zero? :giggle:
I think Adam Ant summed it up perfectly
'I don't follow fashion, that would be a joke'
i'm only ever fashionable when the fashion police decide something is 'this season' and it just happenss to be the thing that i've been wearing for the last x amount of years wink

:lol2:
I've recently seen stuff come 'into fashion' that I was wearing as a teenager fgs rolleyes the looks on the kids faces when you tell em, "oh look, we used to wear them in the 70's" rotflmao
We still rely on the old, old adage
"Fashion comes and goes
BUT
Style is forever"
yep - when you have style you have everything
The fashion will most likely be anything I haven't got in my wardrobe :lol2:
I dont follow trends at all i buy classic items that i can wear for years and that never go out of fashion.
Favourites of mine that always get mentioned by those skinny bints (those that seem to think they can fondle ya boobs without asking whilst saying i wish i had those :dohsmile in club toilets seems to be
White go go boots with a black stripe up the side £5 in a clearance sale still wearing them 5 years later :inlove:
A denim mini - pretty plain in design but easy to dress up or down and looks great with boots think i paid a quid for it worn it thousands of times sillyhwoar:
and of course the trust worthy good old denim jacket (bout 10 quid 8 ish years ago). they look so much better when you have worn them forever

He needs a bigger ruff wink
I don't do fashion. Never have. I have no desire to look like everyone else, thank you very much. I won't wear anything with a logo on it. I've been known to spend days looking for sports gear that won't
turn me into a free advertising hoarding.
How does that work anyway? You pay extra for the privilege of being an unpaid, walking advert for a brand, so that the brand becomes more popular, and you then get to pay more for it?
Joggers and a polo shirt is a style/fashion, isn't it? redface
