im so sorry for your loss. weve not spoken and im sure you have lots of friends, but my pm box is open for you any time of day or night.
i lost my dad 6 years ago to the day next sunday.

I hadn't been able to cry until I read your lovely responses.... What makes it doubly hard is that I lost my younger brother to cancer on Fathers Day 2005 so its not a good time either... My brother was dad to four kids...
I am sat here with tears falling down my face... but I did need to cry..

Thanks are really not needed. And we'll be there for support over the coming weeks & months too.
Hope you get some sleep, things will start to become clearer over the next few days.
As for being a woman in a million- many would say thats a good thing wink

Managed to get a few hours sleep, and feeling a bit more with it today, my other half is coming round for lunch later, and my sister is going to call me about arrangements...

Miss Kitty - sorry to hear about your loss. I lost my own dad only 3 weeks ago and haven't been able to cry properly yet ... still in shock I guess.
