Some lucky people here. Dad's day was a sad day for me. I texted wishes to my daughter's dad and he did not even bother to say thanks.

I'm in the same boat bouncy, the contributor to my XX chromosome is also a complete arse and finally I've seen the light and now consider myself a voluntary orphan.
For those of you that had loving relationships with your Dad and are sadly no longer with us I appreciate you will probably not understand my sentiments but am not going to go into boring detail to justify my stance. Just understand that I'd so much rather it not be this way and would have loved to have been there with loving card and a gift of appreciation.

i know this will sound daft but at least ive lost my dad as hes dead, where as sadely you have to morn the loss of a dad who isnt there cause hes a **** ( inset chosen word)
all i can say is its never too late.
my dad wanst around when i was a kid, but made up for that in his last 5 years.
my kids have what i refer to as sperm doners, cant be considered a dad waste of space.
