Hi,
It's probably been asked a 1000 times on SH and I apologise if that's the case (a mod can delete if they so wish.. )... but here goes:
What's your fave record at this moment in time & why..?
Mine is - Dakota by the Stereophonics
Why - well..there's a few reasons:
It reminds me of good times with an ex lover (yes, I've had a Bacardi....or two.!).
A great song, especially when driving in the car (in my opinion).
For some reason (without going too deep), it makes me feel so much more alive...!!
For those who contribute to this thread...this is not a Best song of all time...just what's in your head at the moment.
Cheers....CheekyChimp.... cool

Maybe you should think of 2Unlimited and "No Limits" - that'll fuck Mr Wonder off in no time ( and you'll wish you had him back! )
At the moment I've got I Predict A Riot by Kaiser Cheifs stuck in my head
I am sure you will like it cheekychimp, its a nice tune, was no 1 for a few weeks about 4-5 years ago

I'm not a music buff by any means (one of the reasons for the thread)....but I do know that the Bee Gees have produced some classics....and wrote a few.!

equi-princess xxx
Oh my God...so many to chose from!!! I spend half my life embarrasing myself by blurting out random tunes in the wrong places.
"I like the Way You Move" is suuuuuuperb right now, but I also can't stop playing (and laughing) at the new Goldie Looking Chain song... "Your Missus is a Nutter" Anybody heard it?!
Got some cracking lyrics....."Every time you have a drink, she has a double...your missus was lookin at my missus....blah blah"
I nearly crashed the first time I heard it - definitely brightens up the cack days!
Sheep by Pink Floyd...its set on repeat in my car...playes twice then i'm at work smile
'Have a nice day' by Bon Jovi - very loud.

Ah! I shall now look at you in a whole new way biggrin
Which part of the country are you originally from confused:
Slowhand by Interpol, . And some song (dont know what its called) by Maximo Park keeps flitting in and out of my head,
I really must find out what its called,, any idea`s people, i think its there latest single biggrin wink
Vernon played 3 A.M. Eternal by The KLF a bit ago.... a classic
goes off to listen to KLF's 'The White Room' CD hidden in the depths of my CD collection
Fields of Gold by Sting, that smooth talking, tantric loving geordie, always manages to pull at my heart strings when i hear it
Since when are they called chewns dunno
I really must try to keep up with the younger generation. confused
Anyway, right at this moment my chewn is Man in Black and it's Ice's bloody fault mad
I can't get it out of my head and it's driving me mad.
I am about to replace it with Birdhouse in your Soul which I'm just going to blast out to piss the neighbours off. biggrin

Being a rock chick at heart I'm almost ashamed to admit it, but I have a happy house techno remix stuck in my head
it's Groove Coverage vs. Alice Cooper (think 'Poison' restyled into a fast bouncy rave track with the vocals by a female lol) Not sure if it's in the charts (dont keep up to date with these things rolleyes but a friend came back from Ibiza with the CD and I 'borrowed' it!
I usually hate it when classics get covered/messed with, but this one is definately my 'chewn' of the moment....innit! :thrilled:
Right now? Kissing you by Desree (I watched romeo and Juliet before my fun last night!)
But, it could pretty much be anything....my tastes in music are as varied as my tastes in men :P Sometimes I fancy a romantic tune sung by one singer, and at other times I prefer something more lively by a group wink
I like Groove Coverage also although i don't know how the woman in the vid called " 50 years and 50 days" keeps her figure though as she eats everything :giggle:

the other song I have on every CD player in the house (and car) is by Blackfoot called Highway Song - total classic southern rock, saw em live in August and am hooked!
(redeeming self here from the Techno confession lol) wink
Fav tune for me at the moment has to be the honey menthol. lol
