I love words.
I think tryst is my new favourite.
Which words do you like?
A lovely word is.... Floccinaucinihilipilification
It means the categorising of something as worthless trivia.
I see a lot of that. wink

Bollocks. That's a good word. Can be used with so much feeling. Bastard is another good one.

whips
he Ms Whips... its not sad.. its an urban dictionary word..
lucubrious : be calm, cool, flowing. relaxed in an upbeat atmosphere
lol
Current favourite words of mine are "bombazine" (a sort of silk-like material), and "espresso".
And it must be under the influence of the writings of Nola that I love the word "debauched".
Bob - That's my favourite word. It's not up its own arse in pretentiousness and it is the most abrupt short sounding word and is not offensive sounding, also it feels good to say.
Yeah bob is good

Whenever I hear Bob, I always think of the Blackadder sketch with a girl pretending to be a man ("Bob. Short for Kate")
I have always loved the word cucumber .... has a nice ring to it dont ya think?

Cwtch - which in Wales is like a cuddle but so much nicer biggrin
Oh yeah - cwtch is lovely - though it should probably have an 'sh' on the end not a 'ch' in welsh spelling. I think. Sorry - I just can't help it...
I'm also a fan of nola's 'tryst'.
I like big blousy words like bosom and fulsome and besom.
I love 'doglet' for little dogs, which people keep stealing from me coz it just suits them so well!
Then there are some choice Yiddish ones that are crucial to life like meshugga - nuts, lobbes - a good for nothing, chutzpah etc, etc. I love these with my whole lineage!

Someone not a million miles from you, heard me using the word 'doglet' and nicked it!
I like copacetic or fine, excellent, going just right.

... and following on from that - 'gunk' :-)
i.e. 'can I gunk on your face?' :rascal:
Oooh and I likeperambulated. I use it a lot... even though it makes people chuckle at me.
And yes, I am conscious it does sound a tad Jane Austen, but I like that. wink
