Bees, wasps, spiders, woodlice....infact any sort of garden creature. Crabs, sharks...and maybe a few more things that live in the sea. Cows (but when close up to them which originated from when I was in Scotland).
I also used to be scared of fire engines, when I was younger. I remember going to cross over a road and saw a fire engine coming along it, blues and twos, and waited at the kerb for ages til it went past. Another memory of this strange fear lol is playing out one evening, it was quite dark, and hearing a fire engine and seeing the lights but not knowing where it was. I was too scared to go anywhere incase it knocked me over cos it couldn't see me :shock:

Well Tan, severe weather phenomena can cause death and destruction on a grand scale - luckily we in the British Isles are not subjected to tsunamis and major earthquakes, but lightning can strike people and buildings, and be pretty frightening I think. And anyway, people's fears are rarely rational.
However, I find spiders fascinating. lol

I'm better with spiders these days than I used to be...
but am currently persued around the room by particularly fast one... it's hiding in the piles of detritus I accumulate... like a sniper... waiting to take a pot-shot then moving on to the next best vantage point!

Heights - I get wobbly an a kerb.
And level crossings - SERIOUSLY scared of them and 3 of 4 routes home use them.
One of them has a straight through line next to it and as I was crossing the level crossing safely an express train roared past on the through line.
I damn-near crashed in shock.
