Hey All, I'm just feeling really crap and pissed off because someone sent me a reply to a PM and he was really rude and I thought he was a nice guy.....so now I'm pissed off and I can't stop thinking about it.....
I want to tell him that he was being nasty but I think I could be over-reacting and I don't have the energy to go through a whole big argument with someone....
Anyway...just wanted to vent my frustration as it's the first time that someone has been rude to me on here (well, that is someone that I've sent a PM to first anyway) :cry:

I think rudeness is unforgiveable in any walk of life. If someone doesnt want to talk to you then they can still say it nicely. Words can hurt like hell or make you feel brill so a little thought on what you say goes a long.
I however was really rude to someone who knows who he is
ops: I will now apologise publicly as I had reasons at the time..................................and I was foregiven I think.
Men can have pmt too and there may just be a reason for his rudeness. If not his loss ... I have met you and you are a great gal so dont let it get to you - onwards and upwards or sideways or whatver position takes your fancy

Cheer up, Helen. I know it's not nice but having seen some of the filth that gets directed at me in 'Mod' mode sometimes when people are not thinking straight, all I can say is he'll soon realise what a dork he's been and apologise.

Name and shame them to a mod is the way to go. What you see on here is often the false face of people, in a PM it is often the real person who is seen. Like most people, we all wear a mask between our normal face, the one worn every day in public, and the one whene we remove it at home. Sometimes the person you see is NOT a nice person, and that is why even the most plain, ordinary people can be often so nice. I think SHREK, has the best description, in that ogres are like onions, they have layers, and to some extent so do we. better you know this person NOW before you possibly ever met them. First impressions count in PM's too!

I've had it too, makes you feel quite grim, dont do what I done tho and have it play on your mind for weeks, it just isn't worth it, and it's letting them have a power over you by making you feel insecure - its their loss, you're a wonderful friend who I've grown quite fond of on here, compounded by when we met up

I always reply to PMs with gratitude as I am pleased to receive them whether they be from male or female. If someone sends me a friendly PM it makes my day and I am happy to talk to anyone off this site as I am always interested in making friends with genuine people.

Before i answer this post i'd just like to say that i'm not the person responsible.
I have great sympathy for you Helen, however i wonder if this person has upset you unintentionally. I have previously had mental health issues and have been rude to those i love/like in the past, it wasn't meant but all the same it happened!! I have also had problems in the past with the old "Glug glug, switch brain off, upset people" lifestyle
Although i feel sorry for you maybe this person has other issues which deep down they wish they could solve
