Do you look after your feet?
I do, I'm fanatic about it...
I was at a music festival this week and sat down taking in the rays whilst many were stood up around me. Gave me a birds eye view of everyone's feet. I was amazed at how many had terribly hard and cracked skin, really bad condition that would take months to heal and repair.
It seemed to be more women than men (not all the guys wore sandals or where in bare feet tho).
I like my feet and yes I do try to look after them. Every now and then I do the full works on them and do the pumice stone thing and then literally coat them in whatever moisturiser I am using at the time (very often bodyshop cocoa butter) and then slip a pair of fluffy bedsocks over them and leave them overnight. It refreshes them and they stay soft for ages after.

Alas I have had foot care foisted on me by my diabetes. It's very difficult to get into the habit after a lifetime of avoiding those little bits of anatomy that seem so far away.
These days it's proper nail cutting, regular moisturising and visits to the podiatrist (I remember the days when they were chiropodists! Bloody yanks re-naming everything!).
I spend very little time in shoes or socks but when I do they are purpose built walking shoes (Gore-tex Merrells for the nosey).
I really don't know how you women do all that skin care stuff, it drives me nuts just doing my feet!

My Mum swears by them cool
Nope. I've got the feet of someone who's spent many hours barefoot in a Dojang......and many many more running around a wooden deck, again, barefoot- but only because the crew used to take the piss out of me for sailing a square rigger in heels rolleyes
The primary school is only a hundred yards away, and I'm quite often to be seen picking up youngest sprog barefoot too. Much to the horror of all the mum's who won't turn up at the school unless they've got full war paint on.
I get the feeling they'd get up a petition against me, but daren't in case holding the pen makes them break a nail. :lol2:

So sucking your toes could turn into a tooth sharpening task then?
I like my feet. I look after them too. The best 25 quid I ever spent was with a chiropodist. Brilliant!
If you've not been, then go!
Psssst... I have my feet in my profile pics!
No choice here i'm afraid. If i don't pamper my feet at least twice a day i can clear a conference room just by walking into it redface
whinchey, i'm telling you right now, you do and you will soooo regret it.....
My ex had (has?) feet like house bricks and would drive me nuts rubbing them on my soft delicate feet. (Ok I know - probably the only bit of me that IS delicate).
He would never moisturise them, claiming that he needed the hard skin to protect his feet. What a load of rubbish - moisturising would have got rid of the rough, hard skin and would have left resilient, unbroken leathery skin that would have done a far better job of protecting him. But I never managed to convince him.

i love feet. am i odd. but they have to be nice feet. ones that have been washed, filed mousiturised and of course manicured properly. My pet hate is nail polish thats chipped and unchanged for weeks.
i love massaging feet and having my feet massaged.
i think the sandy shaw look is so sexy.
having said that, like peanut im diabetic but i find foot care a pampering experience

Oh it is, but only if I can find some other bugger to do it for me biggrin , otherwise it's a PITA as far as I'm concerned.
Though I have started to like the feel of my feet when I wap a load of diprobase on just before I take the dog out for a walk. For some reason it makes my feet feel strangely warm, comfortable and 'floaty'.
I haven't seen my feet in years. Something has become between us. redface
But I do enjoy pampering someone elses feet, just so erotic mmmmm Anyone for a foot massage? biggrin
I find female feet a turn on, even if they're a bit manky.
I like the whole pamper thing for feet, even if I have to do it myself cool
Not a glamour look mind you lol , walking around in cotton socks that keep the nice moisturised feet from drying out to quick. Ususally I do it when MrFc isn't about...........can't let him see how time consuming a groomed look takes.
...hmmm, a footcare regime.
That's what I could do with my summer holidays! :giggle:

You might be interested in pedicure by fish then.
I caught the end of a documentary on TV some time ago where they use tanks with tiny fish (some sort of carp) that nibble at the dead skin of your feet. Apparently it's very good for you and very nutritious for the fish wink
Have a gander at Youtube

Cheesy feet? Yummy!!
lol

That sounds rude if said with an accent smile
Oh dear- I don't have feet, I have hooves!
No matter how much I moisturise/pumice/scrub/spa etc etc, they still look like trotters!Horrible and dry- they have been like that all my life- i hate my feet!
m xx redface
I spend a lot of time pampering my feet – I have to or they would be truly minging. My feet are not naturally attractive though and I would never want to show them off, even after pampering them.
