mrs star is thinking about having a genital piercing done soon.
have any female members here got one at the moment or had one done in the past?
mrs star knows there are a few different ones out there but she was thinking about a hood piercing.
mrs star and myself would like to know does it hurt, how long are you out of action so to speak, and are there many benefits? as we have herd that some peeple notice no difference after having it done. mrs star likes the idea of a hood piercing with a bar as that could possibly rub on the clit?
any help we would apreciate.
i have had my hood done about 6 months now there a thread about it somewhere on here.
initially it hurt for just a few seconds and was sore for about 3 days, the piercer will tell you no sex or fondling for about 6 weeks, but her own body will tell her if anything is wrong and to stop what she is doing when it comes to playing.
as far as noticing any difference, i am 1 of the unfortunate ones who feels no difference with or without it and thats after trying various different pieces of jewellery, but the most comfortable is gold or titanium or plastic as its a very sensitive place when it comes to what type of metal or other materials i insert there.
hope this helps
Also had a hood piercing about 6 months ago and as Sara says, it hurts for a couple of seconds while it is being done and when the piercing is inserted/fastened. As for being sore, I was fine within 2 days and we did play (no oral till completely healed and wash/bath the piercing immediately after sex).
The lady who did mine told me not to buy any fancy stuff for looking after it after the piercing and just to use good old salt water, and mine was healed within a few days. Sounds a bit crude, but the lady did describe the area as 'dead chicken skin' and she is right, it is the clit where the nerve endings are, and very little in the hood itself.
As for additional feeling/stimulation, for me, it depends on which jewlery I am wearing. mine is an horiztonal piercing (I think you are wanting a vertical one from your description). I have been told that the vertical one gives the most stimulation, however, the piercer will advise which one is best suited to you (I didnt have a choice as it all depends on your anatomy). Sometimes I dont know it is in, but with certain rings I wear, I struggle walking down stairs without a big smile on my face, even driving in the car can be fun. We also ride a motorbike and that can be out of this world (if not a little dangerous) wink
Whatever you decide, make sure you are very careful who does the piercing and ask about aftercare etc before you have it done. Ideally try somewhere recomended by someone you know and make sure you feel comfortable with the person doing it.
I know 2 ladies who got pieced 2 months ago. They both very happy.
Us guys may have to take extra care, don't want to pull on it, and hair can get trapped in some bling.
In the end why not.
I have a vertical hood piercing.
I didn't find it painful having it done and I was fully expecting to spend the rest of the day on the sofa, legs akimbo! Not so... I did some shopping, came home and did my housework and had a wank later on. Your own urine and salt water in the bath are the best thing for keeping it clean (although I'm not sure how the bloke thought I was gonna piss on my own clit but I nodded and smiled when he told me that!)
Get yourself a rattle bar... can't remember where I got mine but I'm pretty sure you'll be able to find one. Then go for a bus ride, sit on the seat above the wheel! wink
Enjoy! I do... often!
our neighbours long lost nz daughter was telling us today...
her belly button piercings spat the thing out twice lol
had my hood done a yr ago, hurt only 5 sec, healed after 2-3 days, slightly unconfy in tight jeans, and tbh it does nothing to me lol more estetical than practical smile keep loosing my balls, ( thats the piercing one ) and it is a challange to shave my bits ( needs to be taken out for a proper shave )

if its difficult shaving and uncomfortable perhaps its too long for you and try a smaller one or even a round 'eyebrow' piece of jewellery. just cos it says eyebrow dont mean it is only meant for eyebrows, plus it may be cheaper to buy a pair of normal sleeper ear rings and just use 1 at a time, just an idea for everyday comfortability
thanks for everyones help.
i will let you know if mrs star has one done and if there is any differance.
Just one thought,
a g/f of mine has had most of them done. On the whole they were great fun although after a while the taste of metal can get on yer nerves....from a man's perspective...
so if it is possible to change them to plasic ones once in a while then that would solve that wink
