Tesco were selling off quail tonight.
Minx and I have decided that we will present one to the kids on the carving plate on christmas day and act a scenario where minx is furious with me for over cooking the capon and causing it to shrink.
I wondered if anyone else had any specific or regular yuletide japes planned.
1) Park the cars around the back
2) Paint a milk bottle white and leave it on the front step
Should fool the in-laws so we get some peace lol
lol HnS I like your style.
Milk bottles - do they still exist (not seen one for years)? lol
I for one will wake up with a severe case of amnesia.
(Christmas - what's Christmas  )
Alternatively:-
A supply of 'Police Crime Scene' tape tape across the door should discourage the foolhardy.
or
A supply of Iceland Christmas TV Dinner meals left on the doorstep...
or
A Bio-hazard warning sign that the wife is loose in the kitchen...
That should cover all bases and ensure we have a day free of interuptions and I can watch endless repeats of 1970's Christmas Specials on Sky. banghead

Gu,
They do around here, sooner help the local independant dairy and milkman rather than contribute to a big corporates profits, plus can recycle milk bottles, paint them white, etc. wink .
Anyway since he delivers circa 2-3am means always fresh, plus if need any extra delivering we just txt him and it's there in the morning.
Shame not living at the old place mind, always an extra 'clear liquid' bottle delivered when required, ask no questions & tell no lies Hic !
but thought I might share this with you. Some weeks back I asked my 7 y.o. son what he'd like for christmas. He stared at me silently as I continued to probe for an answer, until eventually he was in tears of frustration...wtf? His 10 y.o. sister intervened .... "he can't speak to you right now" she said, "I've put a hex on him so he's not able to speak until I remove it." Fekin kid's are gettin wierder than me. So I ask youngest daughter where on earth she'd learned to behave in this manner..."it's in my genes" she replied....cheeky little cow lol
