Fetish beginners

Hi everyone, i have just got a new girlfriend who's interested in going to a fetish club and i know nothing about them (nor does she). Could anybody tell me of one that does not have a fetish dress code but you can just go along and watch or join in if the mood takes you as we might be shy or nervous the first time. Or maybe a swingers club that has a fetish evening or section. Many thanks im sure someone will help us. We are from nth London so any where in he south east is fine. Fetish clubs demand that you make an effort to join in at least by dressing in suitable clothing for the event. Its no different to going to a wedding in that you have to turn up in suitable clothing to make the event what it is.
At the very least Ann Summers can provide basic fetish stuff. Then you can see if its right for you both.

I went to a fetish night once :shock:
Before I went I rang the club, yes I could watch and not join in but 'don't get in the way'
and they did expect you to make an effort of dress in a fetish manner, so out came an indecent black dress etc! biggrin

I've yet to experience a club ( though I'm soon to be initiated into the eschelons of fetish play :twisted: ) Try googling a few clubs, they sometimes have photos on there to give you some idea.
If you want a good site for clothing and stuff try this

They have a range for stuff that would suit a first timer and prices are pretty good too. Failing that, there's always good old ebay :thumbup:

another option is (if its not too far to travel) go to the bbb (birmingham bazarre bazarre) held every 3rd sunday i believe, its a fetish market held in a nightclub during the day,people can wear what they like there, either ordinary day clothes or any fetish you are into. its an eye opener, plus you get a broader idea of fetishes,as you've not actually stated which fetish your into at the bbb you get a broader idea of what fetishes there are plus the goods on sale are cheaper / better than your run of the mill anne summers they have a demonstration in the afternoon which could be techniques on whipping ,bondage,anything and you can pick up really useful tips on diferent subjects there.

I'd also like to add that most fetish clubs will always have a small percentage attending the events who are exactly like yourselves, ie starters and newbies who are in the same situation; exploring and observing until they feel its right for them. I know that because that's how I started.
However you do need to look the part, otherwise the club will become mainstream and of no interest to the main core of fetish enthusiasts. So check out the gear and lay out some dosh on an outfit and you will get in.
