Filter for close-ups?

I did a search and found several discussions of close-up genital photos and it appeared the general consensus of those participating in those discussions was that such photos are not all that much in desired. Neither am I a fan of them, in fact, to me they range from unattractive all the way to revolting and off-putting for that matter. Maybe I shouldn't be on this site with an opinion like that. rolleyes

Anyway, I thought it'd be great if there was some sort of filter. Assuming all new photos are scanned for their content anyways, it would be easy if that respective person could just set another tick to mark a photo as explicit close-up. We could then in our settings select if we want to exclude such photos globally. Alternatively, they could implement a 'rating' system where we could mark pictures as 'do not show again' and would not be bothered again.

Interesting idea, ayoke!
If it could be automated it would be good, though it would have to rely on the subject of the photo being conscientious and marking the photo correctly.
I suspect though, that although many people are not keen on close up genital pictures, it isn't seen as big enough a concern to justify the extra expense for the necessary software.

however, the pictures do have to be checked over first by a mod, couldn't the mod flag the pictures as explicit and then people who don't wish to see explicit pictures can have that option on their profile so the pictures just don't come up? it'd be like safesearch on google.

We authorise those as adult - meaning explicit.
If members could mark photos as explicit themselves, would they do so though? We all have different ideas on what explicit is - mods have guidelines to go by. Interesting idea though :smile:

they are only shown as thumbnails, if you dont want to see close up shots you just dont click on them? or perv the gallery lol

Seriously though I like a good mix of pics, A close up is good if before it you have seen a face pic so that you can associate one with another.

I sure its for legal reasons mainly (vaguely remember St3v3 saying recently - I had had a drink then tho confused

). For example what non members can see off site. Also free members have limits to what they can see on site - if your one of these members you probably only see non adult photos and unable to see full size, the adult ones will be hidden with a red cross.

that's fair, just some people (for whatever reason they want to give) have all genital pics and no face pics. when they send me a pm with just a close up of their crotch it puts me off right away. I want to see someone's face before I see their bits xD

Its far nicer to see a face and then if you want to see other body parts - you can. Some peeps seems to do it the wrong way round though (imo) - wonder who is the more successful with getting a meet?
Interestingly, I know a single guy who does ok here and he doesn't have any photos at all - the one he sends via mail doesn't even show his face. He doesn't chat in public in the chat room, doesn't cam, doesn't use the forum. How does he manage it when so many others don't? dunno

He must have something going for him - be buggered if I know what it is though :lol2:
