I've done a quick search but cannot see where this topic has been aired before... would be suprised if it hadn't though.
Apparently sexuality is determined by the hormones received in the womb ( not a total surprise there) and this determines finger length.
A man's index finger is generally shorter than his wedding finger and heterosexual women's fingers tend to be identical in length.
Lesbian index fingers however tend to be shorter than the wedding finger being a similar ratio length to men. Both gay and straight men tend not to have a difference in finger length. Weird innit!
My left hand index and wedding finger are similar in length but there is a substantial difference on my right hand though... ;-)
Are you sure thats no you're middle finger? Isn't the index one the first finger? Or maybe you have strange fingers? ........Ok I'm confused now too!
Anyway, looks like I am a stereotype again, I'm a bi woman and my ring finger on both hands is longer than index.
ickle bump, just the once, 'cos I thought this was interesting... ;-)
Does that include finger nails wibbly?
My wedding ring finger is longer than my index finger.
lhk
Kat
has it reall got faff all to do fingers in my opinion
Yup - I'm a bloke! Just gonna go and check Mrs TE's - back in a mo'.
Right now she's officially Wibbly curious - they're different lengths!
Can I just point out it is not as simple as just looking at your fingers. It is easy to alter the appearance of length/comparison by tilting the hand to the left or right.
The middle finger needs to be lined exactly with the bone line of the forearm to make the comparison. And it is left hands only!
