Here's the thing... I am not a nail biter, but am also not a manicured manikin. My nails are short and usually ingrained with bike-blood.
So, every now and again, I get a good ole' false set done. I think they look terribly sexy.
However, just try changing your contact lenses, or doing your jeans up or picking your nose with claws on. And, I'll be honest, I won't entertain another woman who has long nails, be they false or natural. (Think about it boys... it can hurt!)
Here's the question... do I do the nails and feel all "like a real girl", or do I not do em, in case I get to erm... feel another real girl, when I go to Sparkle this weekend?

Have your nails done vix. Mine are always done, and i must say its difficult to do certain things 
but really sexy. 
but really sexy. Well coming from a male perspective, I keep my nails VERY well manicured for as you said... IT CAN HURT... so I do try to be a bit ermmm respectiful of me ladies bods...
As to women with nails.. love to feel them on my back, arms, legs - hell anywhere... If she is going to sit and let me drive fine.. but if she decides to take charge.. errmm nails can nick, cut rip certain sensitive skin areas

So to answer your question.. if you are even 2% sure that you might be using them anywhere else beside on the epidermis then.. clean em, bit of polish (color or clear) and GO HAVE A GRAND TIME....

FFS this is easy. Do the nails on yer left hand and then do everything, contacts, nose, jeans , woman with your right. When not in use the right can be kept in jeans pocket!

I have crap nails, they just don't grow or they break the minute I've got them decent. I've tried those stick on false jobbies, but they fall off the minute I do something and if I have them done properly they inevitably are useless when it comes to using the computer etc.
Must admit I do like to see talons but normal is best.
