Hmm- the guy we were out in france with bought our sprogs a shed load of fireworks, which I said we'd let off back here.
Then of course we had to invite his brood to watch them.
And his son is best mates with the kid next door, so he'll have to come.
Then we can't leave out the other neighbour and her kids.
Hmmmm......theres all that wine we bought back too......
And I bought loads of halloween decs the other day from Tescos at 75% off....may as well use them.....they're all kinda piratey skeletony themed.......
So it's turned into a "Pirates & Pyrotechnics Party" :bounce:
>>>>>>>>Who say's it's a lame excuse to get the costume out?
I cant believe how quiet it`s been around me. I watched a great display through my window on Saturday night from a display going on in the local park. I expected more of the same round and about last night but there was very little and even less tonight.
Slough must not bother much with fireworks. dunno
One of the many things in life you are never too old for............Fireworks.
Echoes

Great pictures!
this one though, bottom left of picture.. it looks like a little tornado
Tony wink
They've been going off big style round ours since Friday, last night being the greater (obviously lol ).
All night I could hear sirens tho' and cringe when I think of the damage caused by the 'idiots' man-handling fireworks.
Ban them and plough some more money into the Government for more organised events! biggrin

I have to agree hun they are so much better and safer to i know that seaton costs many thousands for the fireworks alone

Oh and some of the beach that almost makes this a nice place to live
Imagine two grown men (um im talking firework theme before you start imagining all sorts of perverted filth!)........two men, early 40s, one 6ft 5 and the other 6ft 8 tall organising a family firework party.......
Now imagine these two with sparklers in their hands in the garden trying to recreate the olympic rings.........talk about regression...... biggrin

Absolutely!
Every year we get all these warnings about how dangerous they are, blah blah.
Drivers get speeding tickets and fines etc 'cos they're basically in charge of a lethal weapon.
Anyone can be arrested for carrying a knife.
You need a license to use a gun.
How come fireworks slipped the net? License them or ban them.
They're beautiful - I love organised displays but I hate this time of year. Just waiting for some twatty kid to put a firework through my window or summat. Scares the life out of me, tbh.

If i'd of been there it would of been three grown men :D  - to your blokes.
Less on Bonfire night than the days before! sad
too many kids or young adults throwing them around for my liking.I think it should only be organised events or registered people who can get fireworks.
Its the same for firearms so why shouldnt it be for , i may sound like a party pooper but i think people need to be protected from themselves.
One youngster got shot by a air rifle here because he was terrorising the people with fireworks.
Pity it wasnt a head shot! mad
I love the fireworks... but where I live has a few quite well off families and I'm bloody sure they all try and out do each other on the fookin bang bang whizz bang front..
Its now well into the 5th or 6th day of night after flamin night of glass shattering bangs.. Great the first time round but getting bored now....
Bahhhh Humbug lol.... lol
Its nearly time to start again.... Wonder what satalite is being aimed at tonight??
