First day at skool---

Greetings to all at SH!!. The title describes how I/we feel- like most 'established' swingers (I expect)-we've talked, and fantasised, looked at the (expensive) websites, glad we found this one!, and my lovely other half actually said-'are we going to try it then?' yesterday---
So what now??-- Apart from hopfully getting to know some of you lovely people (bin 'lurking' for a few days), how best to make our first tentative steps into this sport??
Thats not to mention all the 'hangups' that need sorting out-( am I too fat, too short, etc)- so, any help/ advice gratefully recieved--- Ken and Loose

Firstly welcome to the Forums biggrin

I really wouldn't worry too much about hangups, I have so many its amazing I actually manage to survive in the big wide world rolleyes

but I can honestly say I have never ever felt more comfortable than I have been with this lot (real life and online).
I mean how many other people, once they found out you had a huge pre munch spot brewing, would rush and get themselves one too, thats what I call friends cool

Some even went one step further and were sporting terrific shaving rashes, god I love em passionkiss

(the people I mean, not shaving rashes :shock: )
Seriously tho, take things at the pace you want to, never ever rush into anything and end up feeling uncomfortable. I have been here a few months now and just beginning to get more confident and start dipping my toe in the water - went dogging for the first time on Friday ...... although the stipulation was that there wasn't to actually be any doggers around confused

but hey, was me first step lol

Also Saturday was my first trip to a club - it was just brilliant, (thank you Mal for your patience with me and thank you Celtic Q for having me in stitches with the towel saga :lol2: )
Just enjoy your fantasies, take your time and only when ready take the next step, some never feel the need to venture further than fantasy, some eventually build up to being right party animals - whatever is comfortable for you is right.

Aha!! Thankyou, was starting to worry that Id phrased it all wrong, or summat-- yea we were toying with the 'club' idea, reading the reviews it seems that theres no pressure at all, which is nice, as you said-slowly but surely I guess--

Being yourselves and reading others posts, and most importantly joining in is where you want to be. Getting accepted is not really too difficult if you follow the AUP or rules, which are quite easy and are really there to stop the site being closed down by the big brother on the net. I think most things are open, and advise and help are always on hand by someone on almost any subject. I would not judge yourselves to be anything but lovely people wishing to be more sexualy liberated. If you watch the real swingers on the television at present, you will see down to earth ordinary people. I think many believe to be a swinger, you have to be a really special person..well all are, but not just how the porn industries play it out to be...

The best advice I could give is to take it slow and talk through things, be it with each other or other people on the site. Everyone has a story to tell, some good some bad so try and get a balance. Take things a step at a time and don't rush. It's v exciting and easy to get carried away but the best experiences will come with time and patience. You both need to be ready and you both need to be happy, so get to know people and the rest will follow!
