Jamie where ya gone?........we got a bit side tracked there, do you belong to any clubs or anything where you get the chance to socialise? do you go out to pubs and bars with a group of people at all? that can be a good way to get to know people......yeah I know you've still got to break the ice and get talking, but you've got to be there just to make a start if you know what I mean. I'm still unbelievably shy, but the dog club and the occasional visit to a bar for a coke or summint is bringing me out of my shell., I've even started to post a bit more on here as my confidence grows.

Jamie, you are a lot luckier than previous generations, because we now have the internet. Presumably you have looked at other internet chat sites and forums as well as this one. My advice would be to join a chat forum of some sort, maybe one for general dating and chat for your age group, or for a particular interest of yours, or for younger people in your own area. Many people who are shy have benefitted enormously by using the net to chat and make friends with others - you are anonymous and nobody can see you, after all.
I can only echo what Fabio said: a swingers' site is not the ideal site for you ..not at this stage anyway. Forget sex for a while, concentrate on general socialising and chat, and the sex will come.
