aircraft usually stay in the air because of the wings
generally they are attatched to each aircraft as a pair
one to either side of the plane... left and right as you face forward having boarded the plane.
If you should count two, on boarding or once settled, thats a good sign that all should be pretty much ok... there may well be a pair of smaller wings to the rear, quite possibly with a single-virticle fin/wing also... though I wouldnt want to complicatethe issue for you. relax.
mentioning the take-off being ok for you, it will do you well to realise that the wings, mentioned earlier, would have played a very large part in getting the plane air-borne... a quick count now, seeing two, should put your mind at rest for the remainder of the flight.
... so I understand....
chocks awayyyy

depends on how fast you are descending and if there's a mountain in front of you or not :-)
I'm not afraid of dying, I just don't want to be there when it happens :-) (WA)
We spent £120 on therapy for my daughter, before going on our recent holiday, as she was a feckin nightmare the time before..........and it worked!! She sat listening to her relaxation CD, the therapist had made for her, whilst everyone was getting on the plane and that helped as well. Bit late in your case as she went a couple of weeks before we flew.
I get a bit nervous flying too. I'll be flying on my lonesome on Friday too :scared: but I usually take a magazine or newspaper to occupy my mind.
